The boy Akio longs for two things, the nostalgic childhood taste of Tahitian Vanilla, and the colossal monument that stands on an unreachable center mountain in the middle of a bottomless abyss.
After Akio moved to Chronosburg, (A class-divided city in the shape of a ring, that surrounds the Center Mountain withholding the colossal monument), a tiny, seemingly stylish, creature labeling himself "Mr. Mouse," appears, and provides the opportunity for these wishes to happen, accompanying the boy on the way. But for the boy Akio, reaching the monument may foretell a longing much more alarming than common vanilla.
