Glitches in the Digital Afterlife

On the first morning of 2100, two leading corporations in the tech and medicine industries announced a collaborative venture into the notion of life beyond death. It became clear in a short period that this new project was only available for a small fraction of the population.

Yume Nagayoshi has come to terms with her impending death and chosen not to upload her consciousness into the Digital Afterlife. She knows well that her final chapter is coming to an end, accepting the occasional loss of motor functions and words as inevitable symptoms of a stupid disease. What she wasn't prepared for was a dissociative fugue and being surrounded by strangers she supposedly knew. Reunited with a familiar past friend, Yume learns the importance of friends and family.
