For the competition judges: I am well aware that this novel doesn't exactly conform to the conventions of the cyberpunk genre, but I'll explain my reasoning for why I still think it fits. The main premise of the novel was augmented reality taken to the extreme. Here are some other keywords that apply: body hacking, metropolis, high-tech, and global connection (in the prologue this one is literally mentioned). If this novel still doesn't fit well enough, that's fine, but I feel like I should at least make a case for why I believe it does.
