Idolatry

Many forces work on the hundred-floors metropolis known as Miskaria. Below the cover of its light-filled top levels or from the roof of its massive skyscrapers, many want to control the city and its many resources. They're only kept in check by the few who don’t wish to see the city’s population exploited to their doom... None of it matters to the abnormal-looking and weird-minded girl who one day decided to “take over the world” with her performances though.

The self-proclaimed idol known as Amy Wright appeared suddenly and got known just as suddenly amidst the more eccentric groups around the prim and proper megacity, but reviving an almost dead musical style is just the beginning for her and soon she will arise as the biggest performer of them all… She also has a side gig as a covert operative working for a certain secret organization that keeps the balance of power in the city, but no one really cares about it, right?

What started as an entry to the 2022 entry to HF x MAL writing contest is now my cute little pet that I post on Sundays. Currently on the second volume.
