We'll All Be Dead by Winter

“When they failed to kill us defectives, the Pure shut us out. That was in March.
Most of the Rebels died in May.
As for the rest of us, we’ll all be dead by winter.”

In a future where humans are born missing vital organs, and heat is the only resource convertible into energy, most defectives are living on borrowed time. When winter comes, the lack of heat will kill any who require energy to keep their organs functional.
Makoto knows he only has until then to save his sister, born without any missing organs, who was taken away to be used as an incubator by the people intent on recreating a world without technology.
With the help of Rui, a mysterious boy he meets in the ruins of his hometown, he must storm the sanctuary and rescue his sister before it’s too late. Can these two succeed where the rebels failed?
