(Un)heroic

Cruel and unfair. That's how I see the world. A place where you got many different choices, but could only choose one. A place where you got thousand of possibilities, but could only pick one harsh reality. A place where you were blessed by the freedom of choice, just to be chained by [Decisions]. That is how the world works. By giving hope, they slip despair. By giving love, they breed hatred. Some called it balance. Some called it wisdom. But, no matter how you twist the word into beautiful phrases, the consequences of its ugliness remains exist.

That's why humans adore the image of heroes. That's why they believe that they could give them the salvation they want. The heroes would eventually save everyone from their fated peril.

But, if it's true, then....
"...Why did this happened?"

That's when I realize. In the end, that's how the world works. That within every choices they made, there will be those who were ignored, betrayed and abandoned.
