Keisuke Saburi is a teenage thief that suffers from amnesia.
Having no knowledge of his past, Keisuke comes to live with the inviting arms of the Fujiwara household, which is run by one of the great sages that is known for his extreme knowledge in the scientific discovery.
After the strange disappearance of his parent guardian, Keisuke and Isami, his best friend, and partner in crime, follow the one clue they have that will lead them to the location of the great sage, an artifact of unknown origin known as the Shard of Polaris.
During the heist to steal the artifact, things do not go to plan and Keisuke is apprehended by a student from CIMEDE Academy, named Oka Chikaoka.
Keisuke is offered a chance for redemption by working for the CIMEDE Agency, an organization of skilled mercenaries working to protect the world, neutralizing threats both known to the world and threats that lie in the supernatural.
But he doesn't know that CIMEDE also wants the Shard of Polaris.
