-Avoid info-dumping
-Don't over-describe characters. Telling they are beautiful or whatever once is enough
-Don't over-describe irrelevant settings that has nothing to do with story. I do this in chapter 2 but it's actually relevant because it's the home of Melody and works as inspiration for Athena
-Ask readers their book peeves and opinions
-Check TV Tropes to avoid unnecessary tropes. Your story will always have tropes but many of them are overused and alienates veteran readers
