ogdeeeen bogdeeeeeeen
after reading, the prologue and the first chapter, i have to say Ogden (i know u havent yet stated his name in the chapters, i just assume based on the synopsis) is quite interesting as a character that it feels engaging to read,
humor is enjoyable and im liking it a lot, combined with Ogden's own way of observing things make it enjoyable to read (and one of its biggest strength for me)
his voice is casual and relatable which is kinda nice, i can connect to his character without problems and i can imagine other ppl too
characterisation is stronk, his background and traits, and in turn his conflict has been delivered well imo, like the dynamics between him and his parents, which also plays a factor in his dissatisfaction with his current life, and his ways to cope with such a life, and yea sometimes he copes so hard i laugh at it (im going to gehenna for this i know but u're also at fault kya ur going with me as well)
also the intrigue is presented as well, with an interesting build up set from prologue to the end of this chapter, i feel like i want to prepare my popcorn before ogdeno-teddy war begins
now comes the bad part for me, sometimes im having trouble following ogden's thoughts because he rambles too long, making the passage cumbersome to read, i barely make it only because im so drawn by the character, but imo some ppl probably will be confused by them,
i have to say chapter 2 is kinda a savior because only by reading prologue and chapter 1, tbh i have no idea where's the story's gonna go despite some hints because the narratives dont provide as much as clarity (for this prolly this is just a me thing tho),
but yea, so far, overall, still looks good, ill continue reading later
aaaaaaahhhhhh moist
