😵😵😵😵😵 Holy mother of Jesus what the hell have we just witnessed? 💀
Where do I start? Monty that skunk ass dude being Horace’s brother? REN SHOOTING HIS OWN WIFE? Theodore accidentally killing Cherry?! 😭😭 BRUUUUUUUUUHHH
Okay first let me just say I hate Monty with a passion now, and not just for going after a married woman and killing her daughter in the process 💀 The way he disappeared there at the end too, makes me certain he’ll come back and our group is certainly winning that rematch 😤 Especially Theodore, since well… now we understand his guilt 😭
The only thing I was not convinced with is Ren killing his wife, granted that he tried to explain to Solomon but he wouldn’t listen 🧐 I’m sure but there’s some kind of scheme going on here BUT! BUT! Did Cherry really just die? But she’s alive? 🧐 But how? Is she an android? Maaaaaan so many questions still and volume 1 just ended! Okay, I’m sure you might wanna take a break Luc, but like the impatient reader that I am I have to ask…
VOLUME 2 WHEN?! 😤
I have to say though, since this is the ending of Volume 1 an overview is definitely appropriate. If I have to describe this story to someone all I would say is MYSTERY done the right way. Honestly, the twists, the fact you don’t know who the real villain is and the constant changes you go through while piecing the puzzle together is just so well done! Honestly congrats Luc, this story is taking us for a ride! 👏
On top of the mystery though, you’ve also managed to create such an amazing and loveable cast that’s so fun to read about 🤝 With their own quirks, backstories and personalities there’s just so much to explore and see here that it makes the experience even better. Their romance (Theo and Cherry waiting to be canon…), their connections… just 10/10 🔟
AND let’s not forget about the setting 😤 Theatreux (I don’t know how to write it apologies), the Spectacular Theory, the vampires the Crimoire 😤 The constant star references like that on the stage! Cherry performing on her dream stage (more like dying) in the most tragic way possible 😭😭 Pure poetry man 👏
I wish I could recc this story all over again ngl, this ending is just pure peak ✨ I seriously can’t wait for Volume 2, and I’ll also try to bring more people to read this cause honestly it deserves so much more recognition!
