Woah, I didn't recognize it until you commented on the info dump. As I looked through my outline, I realized that there were a lot of upcoming chapters where I could integrate his family background. Thank you for pointing this out!
Also, I don't know which one is your entry for the contest but I'm guessing that all of your novels are your entries?
