On a personal note, I noticed that, at least twice, you put a line about a character's action right after the quotation marks of another character, in the same line ( may not be clear, so for inst. here: "[...] You better look the other way." Hoshina stares at him again. ). That's kind of confusing, especially as it may naturally lead to think that - taking the above example - it's Hoshina who speaks and not Waissu

I'm glad you got invested into the story and its characters! The emotions/share-a-feeling part is what I tryhard the most while writing, so I'm honoured to hear that this works!

I kind of understand your meh point about Kemishi, 'had a doubt about that chapter not being as impactful as I wished it to be. I think in an edited version I'll rework said chappy and their arc, or... Hmm come to think of that I considered adding a shorter arc at the moment I put the ellipse about the ship-crafting, so I can do something with it.

As well not sure it would match HF's vibe. Even though there are some good anime with a similar vibe they're not the ''classical'' ones so x)

(Decidedly this year's entry more my style though I also like making troll stories)
