安 is the an in Heian and can also be read as yasu. Heian means peace and an/yasu can also be read as peace. For those not familiar with Japanese history, the Heian that Yasuna is referring to is the Heian period (平安時代 Heian jidai) of Japanese history which lasted from 795 to 1185 and started when the capital was moved to Heian-kyou (Kyoto).

I started writing this as something intended to be turned into a comic/manga, that's why I have some sound effects mixed in, they were meant to be drawn. But I can't draw nor do I know any who can, so I started adding more description while leaving some of the sound effects in for a little variety. I've tried to keep it low, though, and sometimes I add the effect as well as some description and/or reaction to it. There are less of them after chapter 2 but they will still show up. Chapter 1 is the worst for it by far. Thanks for checking out my story. <3 I hope you'll keep reading as I'd love more feedback, especially for latter chapters.
