The overall story isnt over. I suppose it will be more of a transition where the second volume picks up right after these events when they return to school and answer some of the unanswered questions. It think you got the names backwards lol. Ringo defeated him with some help from Ritsu. Now that they're a few months into school, they're bound to grow stronger to overcome their hurdles. haha, I have been thinking that if Adrion came across other pure elements, like a container of pure chlorine, he can mix hydrogen to make hydrochloric acid.

and yes, Ivika's request is very innocent. Kazuo is just the type of person who jumps to conclusions or dramatizes things far more than they should be. He's the kind of guy that if a girl waves at him just being nice, he'd instantly think she likes him. Luckily he has Ringo by his side to bring him back to reality lol
