The past has a way of sticking around and haunting you. And even when you try to listen to your gut more, sometimes it's hard to, because you wish it was wrong about what it was saying... which makes it hard to act. My mistakes have taught me I should listen to my gut more, even if I don't like what it's telling me. 😖 Probably made me more wary of people.

It's better to be optimistic than the alternative. Also not something I tend to be anymore.
