The idea of magic and science is nice.
But the narrative structure is a bit confusing. It's hard to tell when it's past and when it's present. It's unclear whether the narrator is speaking about one character or another. This seems to improve after chapter II.
In chapter II, there is a character named Maurice. It's unclear whether he is Morris, the protagonist, the Night Witch, or someone else.
Also, this chapter is marked as chapter 0, a prologue or introduction. If it summarizes what will be told in the following chapters, it shouldn't be too specific. It could be more vague and not describe what happens if they are revealed later.
I read up to Chapter III, where everything seems to improve. However, the character introductions are too straightforward. Their names are revealed as soon as they appear. Not through dialogue or a brief description of them and their history, or how the protagonist met them. Just direct exposition.
Sorry for the long review. Overall, the idea is very nice and not explored by many anime or manga. If you really love this story, which seems likely, you should dive into it and do your best, while still enjoying the process. Don't let reviews dictate exactly how it should be. They're only for inspiration.
