The background story is interesting (not to spoiler it: the paragraph in bold characters: "There was a time she was being..."). Definitely worth expanding.

Settings and concept are interesting. (NB: it would help to articulate your story in several chapters, with shorter paragraphs. Even some sentences are a bit too long.) Please keep writing.
