Whoa, what an opening! I was totally expecting Amyas to get some small, scrappy creature after all that buildup, but a full on fox girl? Absolute curveball 😂 I love how the chapter built up his nerves and then flipped everything on its head with Becki just casually refusing the bond like, “nah, I’ll decide later.” The tension + mystery combo is 🔥. Super curious now how their relationship is gonna work when the spirit doesn’t seem to follow the rules at all.

Really enjoyed this first chapter! It had that same immersive, emotional style from Until You Wake... heavy in all the right ways, and it just pulls you in without trying too hard.
I already like Itsuki a lot. You can really feel the weight he carries, but the way he still shows up for others is super admirable. And the woman in white? That whole chase to the cliff had me on edge. The tension and pacing were spot on, and I’m really curious about who she is and where this is all going.

Excited to see what happens next!

The writing is so atmospheric.. I could feel the cold wind and the weight in Tianyi’s chest. Her devotion to Jin was beautiful and heartbreaking. That flashback scene with the broth and awkward flirting?? Adorable.
And then you hit us with that ending?? Rude (but in the best way).
I need to know what happens next. Is there hope?
