If we count the total external time, he has spent about six months in the new world:
about one month at the beginning — in adventures,
around three months in the village,
and about two more months in the forest.
However, if we take into account the time spent in the training room, then in total he is now around forty years old.
At the same time, his appearance has barely changed. This is related to levels:
the higher the level, the longer the lifespan and the slower age-related changes appear.
A detailed explanation of this mechanism will appear later in the story.
To make this clearer, it is necessary to briefly explain how the system and levels work in this world.
When a person gains levels and attributes — for example, +10 to Strength — these are not just numbers.
The system physically changes the human body, restructuring muscles, bones, and tissues so that they match these values.
    The same applies to skills.
When a person acquires a skill, the system causes a controlled mutation, as a result of which the skill becomes part of the body itself, rather than something external.
Essentially, all changes occur not in an “interface,” but on a physiological level.
That is why, theoretically, if a high-level person — for example, around level 200 — were to enter another world without a system and levels, they would retain their strength and skills but lose the ability to continue leveling up.
Now regarding the goblin scene and the question about the toilet. It is important to clarify: at the moment when the small goblin was observing the main character, not twelve years had passed for him, but just a little over a month. When the hero went into the forest, he spent most of his time in the training room, going outside only to satisfy hunger and thirst. He mainly ate plants and mushrooms, but sometimes monsters attacked him — he killed them and ate them. He did not hunt intentionally; he was simply surviving.
The scene where the goblin sees the main character devouring a monster is just one such case: the monster tried to attack and became prey.
As for the disappearances: yes, sometimes the main character disappeared not for 20–30 seconds, but for 2–3 minutes. The small goblin, due to fear and tension, did not notice the difference in time. In addition, at a high level, the hero’s body absorbs food much more efficiently, so he used the toilet less often than an ordinary person — but he did not stop doing so entirely. I simply chose not to describe such moments in detail, because most readers do not like scenes of that kind.
I hope this helped clarify the unclear parts of this episode. If more questions arise, I will try to answer them without major spoilers!!! 😃👍👍
