Just blown away over here watching Chav slide in at the last second to tie King Cyneric for the gold medal in the Asshole Olympics. Absolute madlad.
On a serious note, Jere had a great character arc of an automaton becoming a real boy (though he was grown in a lab, the idea still holds)

I love the implication the Demon King just MIGHT have let them leave if Jere had paid for the smashed window. It says so much about his character.

I am in love with the blood scraping scene. It's a small moment, but it's the first time (I think) that a reader sees Jere performing any sort of self-maintenance, implying that he's been flying around with bloody wings this whole time. And he's doing this at a time, meticulously so, when he's disquieted by repressed feelings beginning to stir. It is just *chef's kiss*
