Also noooo not the internet... yes it has brought many bad things (misinformation, social media, cyberbullying, AI slop), but it also gives people the freedom of communication (at least before mass surveillence) without the hands of those in power interfering (that is why dictators always cut off the internet first to control its and why the politicians nowadays want to control the internet).
Blocking communication can allow for dictatorships to happen more easily (and they might circumvent the no harming others rule by thinking that they are "helping" the ignorant masses by controlling them, like in 1984 and especially Walden Two)
I'm sure right-wing authoritarianism would rise up, since usually in periods of uncertainty, that was what would happen.
This is why one person or a handful of people shouldn't be in charge of writing the world's rules. Miu should have consulted a team of lawyers first to find loopholes. 😭😭
