The creatures will of course be explred in depth and there is a ton of lore connected to them. They are integral to the story. =)

Yes, i do always have a pretty detailed map in my mind of important stuff in the surroundings. On a world-wide level, in this webnovel it is hard to do a map because of stuff revealed around chapter 40 or so, but it is basically graph theory. In my previous fantasy novel I drew a map first and made things happen at places, would do that in another worldsetting as well. Here it would not work. There might be a world map (or world maps?) for volume 2 onward perhaps. But in volume 1 there are not that many places in each storyline. =)

Great questions. =) What "scope" does the afterlifge have indeed? It will go pretty wild in that regard in later volumes/seasons...

The questions of "what are our connections" is a central theme in this story, so that will be explored more. =)

I have yet to watch Severance, waiting for it to finish to react to it. =)

That is so cool to hear, I will check out your stuff. =) I am unsure about writing quality of mine, Some stuff gets lost in translation (original is German on my PC), but I am a lot more satisfied than some years ago.
I did "train" for this story for 20 years writing horror (and 2 YA fantasy books), and practice and failing sometimes was the most important thing along the way for me. =) Ideas wanting to get out is the best sign, I have that every 2 months normally, though currently all thoughts are in this story and planning out the next 1000 chapters. There is some never before seen stuff ahead, I think. :) All the best! =)
