Author's note:
Just wanted to clarify, somethings about the chapter because its *technically* a bathhouse/onsen scene.
I originally considered removing it and coming up with an alternate scene to have the characters talk and explore there backstories because I was *personally* a bit hesitant to write characters bathing (I had never tried something like this before). However, I felt that the relaxing effect that a lot of "onsen" scenes had for the characters added a diagetic way to allow the characters to open up about their feelings in a more honest way. Most of my apprehensions about the setting of the chapter started to become less daunting as I began focusing more and more on writing what Mayumi, Valeria, and other characters felt and how those emotions were able to be a bit messy and honest in the context of a setting that is supposed to allow the characters to relax and be less closed-off from one another.
I just wanted to say, in no uncertain terms, that I felt that I tried my best to focus on the characters and their feelings and not the fact that they were bathing. Thanks , Shin-san🙂.
