And what a fine way to casually end the book arc with Lark's crew doin a "beam me up, Pippa" move for a great escape. Man, I was surprised that Reiden, despite lost memories, believes Lark is her student and should return to his real home. But we all know Lark truly doesn't belong there and isn't valued by his real family. So fitting that he makes an epic getaway. It was fulfilling because some of the crew didn't know Lark's past as well, so he could freely open up about his past with his new family, similar to how he shared it with Unnr and Bjorn at the beginning.
Lol, I see the Wanted poster, but I think I see a waifu tier list. BWAHAHA, Melody is just 5 🤣! Haha, I must gacha Pippa, a whopping 100, 5-star waifu! C'mon, Elora is a higher-tier waifu than Tuta? Dunno if I totally agree with that. I guess it depends on taste, lol😂
I had a great journey setting sail with Lark's crew in your story, Ash. It was a truly entertaining story that kept a casual theme and did a great job "not taking the plot too seriously😁." I loved the "Matrix" theme of Administrators and The System in a seemingly "medieval" world.
I enjoyed Lark's "Jack Sparrow" personality, which developed from his past trauma of rejection, and turned him into a notorious pirate. The harem was entertaining as well, and I love how the crew were all outcasts like Lark, which gave his crew a deeper relationship. Although not all harem members got as much character spotlight, I love how some chapters gave specific moments for readers to know them better. Yes, I personally felt that a few harem moments were a bit distracting from the plot at times, but I love how the story isn't too serious either, so it maintains a very nice, consistent, entertaining aspect of this story. I love that Lark is also a Man of Culture, so it makes sense my boi is eager to add waifus to his collection, yarharharhar😂
I even enjoyed some of the side warriors like X, Branwell, Kenji, and the Masked Man, because we can tell their fighting level is superior, but they all share some honor as duelists who respect their opponent. It makes opposing characters not look as villainous.
Bruh, I talk too much XD. I blame my English-major friend who roasted my writing for years that I seemed to inherit his "critical analysis" as I developed under his teachings. Welp, I can never look at books and movies the same since! 🤣 Anyway, great work, Ash! It was an entertaining journey for me👏😊
