Okay, this was interesting, and not what I would have called it. It feels like a story that can continue and has a lot of life in it still with the conflict with the other two groups. Interesting choice, I think this does a good job of changing the path of Kyosuke, and putting him on a new path. I think the arc for the characters is effectively closed but the whole of the story has an open end that you can use later if you wanted. Overall, this was a very interesting read. ^_^

Interesting, not the explosion fest I was expecting, but it was good, the reunion, the father seeing Kyosuke in a new light, the comments about food. They were all good, a bit surprising as a chapter, but it works. I think that the end was the best part. The bit of tension and uncertainty that wraps up pretty well here was good. I am curious what you do with the last chapter now, but will figure that out shortly ^_^

This one was the last more big moment, the plans and counter plans, everything being set up for the big explosive climax I am sure. I am curious how this is going to go down. I think the tension is there, the build up gives a good idea of the plans which I am sure will go sideways, but I am curious if the action will be in the next chapter or the one after. The setup moving towards the end feels like the preparation has been resolved here and it is time for action. However, I guess that is tbd.

This here felt like a setup for the last moment. I think the talk here was great, it works as a setup, and again reinforces the dynamics of the characters in a solid way. I think that Yoriyoshi and Kimiko have again a great dynamic where how different they are from each other makes the contrast more effective. I am guessing this is the calm before the storm as it were, and as that it works perfectly.

So we get the backstory a bit here, the two years before, that is not a bad place, it tells me things are about to get really heated and dangerous soon. I think that the dynamics in the second scene, much like the last chapter, are the strongest part of this chapter, and the connection between the backstory and the present was really solid too.

The back and forths between Yoriyoshi and Kimiko are the best part of the chapter, I think the difference in personality creates a really neat and fun dynamic between the pair of them. I think that the rest of the chapter is good. The parts with Ryosuke feel like a really intense stand off, still, and I am curious where it goes in the future.

The tension in the dialogue is so good in the start, the conversation is really fun, and works really well. It’s the best part of the story so far, and the lead up really paid off here too.The back and forth is building to the climax of that situation which is pretty obvious how it will end. I think the rest of the chapter was interesting, I think it gives a larger world view which I am going to guess was the aim.

Oh, that was a tense one, the build up to the conflict at the end was great. The twist, the betrayal is also very good. I think that this conflict feels important, though it does feel a bit like a side boss fight. I am curious where this goes, I honestly can see this going in a lot of directions, but till I read the next chapter any of those possibilities is up in the air. Anyhow, I liked it. I think the pacing was quick, but the flow made it easy to follow and read.

This feels like one of those moving chapter pieces, moving and arranging the board for the next big action, with the meeting and the trouble, there are a lot of variables that can and most likely I bet will go sideways from here. I think the flow of the scenes no matter if they are long or short works really well as they are multiple perspectives on the same happenings, and all feel natural with limited data.

I am curious about something you have a habit of starting scenes with the full name of a person, is it purposeful and if so what led you down that road?

Yep, the title is very on point. I do like how the talk from before isn’t the final moment that they are going to deal with his past and well what is happening between them. I think that can wait and that focusing on the moment was a really smart move. I think cutting off the action as you did and showing Kikyo’s surprise through the lines too was good. I am curious where this heads from here.

Interesting, all in all Kokyo took things rather well, given how much has happened to her. I think that her questions make sense, her wanting to know the why, wanting to know Kyosuke all are logical and make a lot of sense. Combining the chase with the conversation was different, and works. You have created a really large cast, how did you figure out how to balance out limitations with how to have the impressive world building at the same time? Just curious, as balancing that seems really challenging.

How come when I read Akito I got deja vu for some reason. This one felt huge, the saving of her, the realization that Kyosuke is more than he seems, it does a great job of expanding and creating a hell of a cliffhanger with that ending. I think this chapter was pretty strong and overall one of the stronger ones so far.

Interesting chapter the throw line of events was very clear, especially with the talk and the incident in the second half of the story. I am curious where the opening section will go, with the reporter and all. I am also curious what will happen with poor Kyoko, and what reactions that gets too.

I really liked how layered the talk between Kyosuke and Ryo feels, like you're not sure what side either is on, or if they are friends or future enemies who will have to fight later on in the story, that is good.

Was the aim of this chapter to be more of a transitional chapter, because if it was, you rocked it. It feels like things are going to change gear soon, and I am curious where that leads.
