So that was a wild one, the opening is a hard cut to the action, the attack, that was rough for Akiko, to be in this world or her own world as a new person, and figured out and attacked so quickly. I am going to guess the school angle isn’t as important as the conflict here.
The realization of the past abilities, the battle and the struggle to deal with it are all naturally handled and are concerns that make total sense in the mind of the girl who has no clue why she is being targeted.
The ending with the disappearance of the friends is really bleak as well, things moving fast for her, first day of school with two friends to things turning on her within a short time and being attacked, this has not been an ideal time for Akiko at all. I am curious how you show this conflict moving forward with the story.
