Wait, why is the training room suddenly becoming obsolete?
The whole point is to have a skill like that is to keep the MC relevant, supplementing his XP gains over any other method. Because if outside methods exist to do so, there's no reason for the MC to be anything special in this world.
Also, NONE of the other skills get weaker power scaling in long the term like that, but the training room suddenly not being able to keep up with just some random training ground is rather counter-intuitive to everything we've read so far.
Sure, if they had to travel half way across the world or something to find the ONE place that allows for it, it'd kinda make sense, but it's practically in their back yard.
