The initial "blurb" about the book caught my attention because of the unusual pairing of a host and a politician's daughter, but I was pulled in by the dark undertow in this chapter. I greatly enjoyed how you opened with motifs of hands and hinted at Kaho's deafness before you revealed it. Can't wait to see where this takes her and Shuhei.

I’ve been reading this a while, you know I love it. But I really like how the dialogue flows in these last two chapters especially; and I really enjoyed reading Yuame and Yasu-hime’s interactions. I think the sense of character is really rich even in a recently introduced character, and it’s believable too. He feels like people I've known.

I also really enjoy Yasu’s poetry xD
