Where did Shizuka's question: "why even use a human pilot?" come from? The lieutenant said nothing about AI or artificial intelligence, and even said AESIR was designed for humans to command and control.

Interesting point to raise, I don't recall ever seeing drones being deployed in your story so far, all I can remember are human-piloted mecha. I could be mistaken. But from Shizuka's question, I'm wondering if I'm missing something, that AI drones are considered normal in this universe.

I apologize in advance if my stupid questions upset you, you don't have to reply or take them seriously, especially if you did already mention AI and drones in previous chapters and I missed those out.
