Appreciate the feedback. I kinda feel the same with it being too much dialogue in this instance - think it kinda just happened naturally (not sure how much I can edit with it already published and judges being able to read stuff already). For it sounding like an interview, I think that's ok given that they're still getting to know each other. You might feel the same with a later chapter (if you haven't gotten to it already by the time I read your comment), but again, I think some growing pains with them is alright as they spend more time together.
