I feel like this chapter should not be just a bonus. I think it deserves its spot following the events. It would be great if we could see Noroi's POV earlier in the story which will bring us closer to his character and motivation. ☺️🧐💖

I am feeling sad for Kiko but then again, nothing could be done to change what happened. I get that she feels threatened by Sakura's presence, that she also long for love, to be cherished as she said. But that is not meant to happen maybe. Really sad POV indeed, but also needed. Well done!

The ending of book one seems to be on the line between hope and despair. Sakura survived a whole year in this foreign past, with no way back to her old life. She lost a father, but found love. Noroi, still not expressing his feelings for her, finally acknowledged her presence, declaring his affection in a very quiet and humble way. Kiko finally realizing that she is not an object of his feelings. Is she going to become Sakura's rival for his love? Are they going to be together with Noroi? So many questions, my dear! What a cliffhanger! 😍😍😍

This chapter was heartbreaking. The mixture of past memories and maybe a future ones, together with the cruelness of the time itself... It was hard to imagine how Sakura will overcome these hardships.💔💔💔 As if it wasn't sad enough, we got to see her father, desperately looking for his missing daughter. Heartbreaking indeed!

OMG, so Noroi, the warrior, has something to do with her future too? I was thinking she has some flash memories of past events, but it was the future events she saw! This was absolutely satisfying to read, because I knew their fate is intertwined somehow and I was hoping that they will be together, you know! So she will be having his children too? The romantic side of mine started dreaming of their future romance! 💖💖💖 I really like the idea of her images, flashing in her mind like Karuta cards! Well done, my dear!

I loved this chapter! 🥰 It was very tender and created a dreamy atmosphere for me! 💕💕💕 Though we still don't know what's on Warrior's mind, we can see how Sakura starts to get fond of him. I love how the warrior manifested his faith in Sakura. 💖💖💖Having someone trust you like that, is very reassuring and heartwarming. This faith in her will probably give her strength in the future. The amulet is somehow a symbol of this strength, but maybe it also has some magical power. I still find hard to grasp the politics and the motives of old Japanese aristocracy, so it all seems so cruel right now. Let's see how Sakura will deal with it. And Kiko, omg, that girl can be troublesome and annoying. 😅😅😅
