Completely speechless at the ending like on the first read I never saw the horror of having your body and life stolen coming but when I think about it's foreshadowed so well! The slow unfolding of Ayla's tragedy and especially slipping in all the details of her life so naturally is done so well, fantastic job!!

A great read! I love the twist a ton! I'm also in love with how Edgar lies to us about the true origin of the watch and how he actually makes a living! I was wondering why he said he made most of his income from selling things and not as a lawyer so when The Collector exposed him, my jaw dropped and then I burst out laughing. I felt so bad though 😅
I love the way you wrote this! I felt like an awestruck child listening to an elder talk about a harrowing time in their life and the lesson they learned from it, so immersive!
Amazing! I love how you interpreted the prompt so much! I have to admit a lot of the cultural and historical aspects went over my head even with mid-reading research lol but I really enjoyed the flow of action and dialogue! The slow reveals over the plot were placed so well!

Awesome!! I love how you imply so much while still keeping the pacing smooth and the story understandable! The last chapter is especially amazing. The horror is written so well and it's so oozily visual I felt myself cringing from just imagining the scenes especially the one with Aaeron!

Great worldbuilding! It's amazing how you were able to give us so much interesting worldbuilding and show us the squad's terrible fall while still staying in the word limit! And characterization on top of that too?! Man do I hate Anderson though you really made me go on a journey with him!

Thank you! I spent a lot of time trying to balance the drama of the past with the off-comedy of the present so I'm glad it came through! I only realized after the deadline that there are some parts which could be much clearer but it's a learning lesson haha. And I love the Sacabambaspis in your icon lol!

Thank you so much! I've been reading all the entries and I'm surprised there haven't been more Living Relic stories! But Meran_Coris' Lost in Core is so good, I love how they interpreted the prompt!
Okay I admit that I didn't read the tags before diving into this so I was just appreciating how naturally you wove Laius' memories of Maenalus into his lair exploration before my jaw dropped at the implication of Maenalus' crush. GOD the cherry on top with Laius' confession at the end! I love how you characterized the both of them in such natural ways; I learned so much reading this! Thank you for writing!!

I felt like a middle schooler reading surprisingly tragic but gripping childrens' books again! I like the blend of friendly story-telling and kids' media vibes with the darker elements a lot!
What a mystery! I like how Ayan's skepticism and failed attempts to find treasure turned his worldview into a mystery game. I was thinking 'There's definitely something suspicious since Ayan thinks so! I wonder if I can spot it?' But considering Ayan's failed for 13 years I guess the ending where he got duped was also inevitable 🥲Great job at describing Ayan and getting into his head!
So good!! There were a lot of side characters but they were introduced super well! Like the captain of the squad's final moments really got me and the Butler's difficulty with the Lord was super reasonable haha! Kalyptos' memory logs of Captain Adelhard and the Princess were especially hearttouching too! I was hoping Kalyptos would survive but this ending especially because it didn't want to harm young people on the battlefield is really good too!

So cute!! The premise made me so curious what Viktor was up to but I wasn't expecting such a cute love story!!
No way!! I was so hooked that when the story ended I was so ready to click the next chapter...! What a beautiful story you've written and I love the way you slowly revealed more of the world naturally as we followed Adira's inner and outer struggles! Great workl!

I love the way you interwove the friends' past hunts into their journey through the Corelands! I felt like I got to know so much about them, their relationship, and the meaning of their journey that the ending made me so sad TT I feel like I could reread this over and over again and pull so much out of it like humanity's relationship with divinity, the meaning of a legend!! You did so good with this, thank you for writing it!!
