He is a good boy, but he must suffer.
Also, is it a requirement for all holy knights to be simps?
Perhaps.

Of course, there's a conspiracy.
Our wounded hero is stuck here with this evil cute girl.
Who is about to kill him... Maybe.

Our Tragic Hero is left on the island. Beginning his epic tale of suffering.
Our first scene from the main story. Or, how did we get here?
The updated version of this chapter includes the perspective of the knights who abandoned him.
But who is really controlling things?
Also, who is this evil looking anime girl?

New introduction to 2XME! Got some fantasy weirdness, intrigue... Um, doomed yuri? Does it count if one of them starts as a guy?
I don't know, but we need a trans protagonist amid all these gender segregated novels. Of course, since this is fantasy, we can't have normal trans representation... We need to make it ANIME. Our plain looking paladin gets turned into a hot bug lady. How exactly? You'll have to read on...
And, officially, I must state that the protagonist is "male" for the Tragic Hero prompt.
The island arc was kind of slow... So I changed the chapter order to have a preview of the monster war...
But, I figured it may have been too confusing for readers. So, here's a more dialogue focused chapter.
I still included some action at the end, though.
Since first chapters are important for attracting new readers...
I have tried to summarize the main plot of the entire novel within one chapter.
I hope this gives a good idea of who the main characters are. Thanks for reading!

The epic battle continues.
But, it's interrupted by some unexpected events...
Ending in a revelation!
Plot twist. Except, you already know what happens from the novel summary. Haha.

Thank you for reading my novel so far.
The chronological beginning of this story is somewhat slow.
Thus, I decided to start with action. I figured that an epic battle scene would interest readers.
The writing ended up being longer than I expected, so I had to split this into multiple chapters.

An office worker with skills being put to use?! Good to see.
Congrats on being a finalist, BTW. I'm trying my best this year.

Thanks for reading 2XME. Even though I'm writing historical fantasy at the moment, I enjoy modern stuff as well.
I just got through your Episode 1. Nice. You got a good mix of action and mystery from the beginning.
I tried doing something similar with my opening scene. After reading your Episode 1, though...
I'm curious to learn more about the training program that the characters received, and the technology involved.
From the beginning, you've got a contrast between the protagonist and the new girls, so that's interesting.
Also, having the ethnic representation in your story, is something I appreciate.

Thank you for reading 2XME. So I thought I'd read yours as well.
I was a little confused at first, as I thought the barmaid was the protagonist.
But it's actually the other lady?
Anyway, an interesting start. Some action but also comedy.

Hi. I'm also a new writer on HF.
This was a very interesting take on the fantasy genre.
Mapmaking magic is something really unique as an idea.
The first chapter was richly detailed with your prose. You did a great job with setting up worldbuilding in a short amount of time.
I hope to read more of your work when it's finished. I'll be supporting you.
