This political saga has so much machinery and moving pieces. The worldbuilding is ridiculously dense through merely 16 chapters as well. Tiria feels so huge. It takes hours for the characters to travel between places, Valeria City is more militant and nice, Seria City has slums, there's an inner Seria, The capital city had an underground prison, a palace, the brighter tiria newspapers building, we've been on rooftops, alleyways, crown warden outposts, the army base, training ground, so much. It's not backdrop. The continuity is so great too. The warden that insulted Warui is actually still in the world, Chena pulling Sarah's rifle trigger too hard has emotional and logistical consequences, the avelorn soldier that warui choked out and zay interrogated comes back as an official account from the attacked country for the wardens. Such a good story so far.
