Maybe for now nothing is BS but later down the time you’ll either become one of those who enjoy the twist or dislike the twist xD I have my reasons as this is only volume 1, but again execution might be questionable…
It’s good to be suspicious of everyone especially when, like Dolly, we’re only learning so much about a world whose foundations haven’t been discussed at the beginning of the episode. We have no idea what’s going on (and that’s the intent) and readers will have to place pieces of the puzzle together by the end to really understand what’s going on in this world lol
And I can say the other contest entries deserved it, if not a lot of other stories could’ve won as we have really good writers in this site. Not sure if you’ve read other stories here but if not, then I’m glad I was the first one because had you read other stories first I’m afraid mine’s going to look very simple and flawed haha
