Thanks for reading. This is definitely a slow burn story. I don't like overexplaining or overloading the readers with world building.
In my mind, I went with something more realistic. What's a weak pathetic guy like Keisuke going to do? Well, he's got to get stronger, and struggle.
It's just the way I write really. I lead characters first and foremost. By the end of the 50 chapters I've planned for this first volume, there will be no doubt this is an Isekai in a fantasy world, just done differently.
I want Kei to be pathetic, miserable and relatable, and build him up from there. That's also why I didn't give him a new body. I want him to earn everything.
It makes his character Arc that much more meaningful. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Thanks for reading, I hope you continue to do so.
