the party crash, the ever-rising threat, the twist, the shock, the brewing anxiousness, the final confrontation, the climax, the realization, the inner conflict, and finally, the conclusion, all fitted in a finely crafted story, or dare I say, a masterpiece.
Aight enough technicality. Man I really love how you managed to tie in her backstory throughout the chapters giving a VERY obvious foreshadowing for this very moment and yet I failed to heed the warnings as I fall into that deep deep depresso sinkhole.....
The previous chapters already established that Karin has a lurking self-doubt going on and thinking so lowly of herself but this chapter really shows how deeply rooted it is within her very being and is quite literally tearing herself over and over again, which by the way I really really love the way you symbolized that metaphorical concept into this diabolic spiral of Inu Curry-Junji Ito-istic imagery. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time yo real props for that.
I also really love the way that this team is perfectly imperfect. Each of them has their own doubts which leads to an inner conflict happening and it's really interesting to know more about their characters through their actions and reactions and so it really helps to get me attached with them in the few chapters they are in. Yellow's a precious baby, yo.....
All in all, it's a really satisfying ending for a really spectacular journey. It's been one hell of an emotional roller-coaster on which I dare to ride again. I never thought I'd shed a tear over a fanfic and I'm glad this was the first www
