Chapter 660:

Chapter 675: Prison Infiltration

Beyond The Stars

Chapter 675: Prison Infiltration

Narrator: Back with Lavana right after she defeated Gravo.

Lavana looks around the large cave room while clutching a seed in her hand. “I’ve done my job. I just need to wait for the signal now.”

***

Narrator: Meanwhile with Sasha.

Sasha and Madeena walk outside and approach a large pyramid sitting out in the middle of nowhere.

Madeena looks at the pyramid and then looks at Sasha. “This is the great pyramid that Ronzic considers to be of great importance.”

Sasha looks at the pyramid as she begins speaking softly. “Yes… It’s definitely of similar size to the others.”

Madeena focuses on Sasha’s eyes as she speaks again, this time in a sad but serious tone. “You’re not really under a spell, are you…?”

Sasha looks at Madeedna and raises an eyebrow as she responds. “What makes you say that?”

Madeena speaks in a soft and sad tone. “It’s in your eyes. What I see in your eyes is a genuine worry. You’re truly worried about them.”

Sasha opens her eyes wider, revealing her surprise that Madeena was able to tell.

Madeena continues. “I won’t oppose Ronzic but I would be in favor of letting the Earth people leave unharmed.”

Sasha’s gaze averts away from Madeena down to the ground with a hint of sadness. “Perhaps…”

Before Sasha can say anything more, Laura shows up behind them. “There you two are. You shouldn’t be out right now. Please come back.”

Both Sasha and Madeena turn around to face Laura. Madeena nods and then looks at Sasha. “I guess this is as close as we will get. Sorry.”

Sasha replies, “It’s all right.”

Narrator: In the prison.

Dusk walks up to two male dark divine being guards who are standing in front of a door.

Dusk warmly smiles as he begins speaking. “Excuse me, but may I enter?”

One guard answers firmly. “Negative. You must have advanced permission to enter. Please make a request with Lord Ronzic, Laura, or Biff.”

Dusk bows as he replies. “Thank you for informing me.”

The guard responds firmly again. “No problem.”

Dusk turns around and starts walking away as he thinks to himself. (“This is problematic. Making a request with one of those three would take too long and would also be denied since I’m still new here. There must be another way inside without causing some kind of commotion.”)

As Dusk turns a corner and walks down a hall with no other people, he starts looking at the walls. He thinks to himself in determination. (“There must be something!”)

Soon, he discovers a vent cover as his eyes open wide. He thinks to himself. (“That’s my ticket in! A ventilation shaft is the perfect way to sneak inside!”)

Quietly, Dusk begins removing the vent cover from the wall. After doing so, he climbs inside, putting the cover back on behind him. He thinks to himself. (“It’s a tight fit but it's enough to move around.”)

Dusk begins crawling around through the vent. After turning a few corners, he comes across another vent cover. He thinks to himself. (“Is that my exit?”) He crawls up to the cover and peaks through the small openings in it. He sees a few guards. He thinks to himself again. (“Nope. This is not a good spot to exit.”) He backs up and then takes another turn. He continues crawling through the vent. Eventually, he finds another potential exit. It’s an area of the prison with no active guards. He grins as he thinks to himself. (“Bingo!”) He quietly removes the vent cover and then rolls out from the exit onto the floor. He finally places the vent cover back on before looking around. He starts quickly but quietly walking around as he thinks to himself. (“I have to find the captured crew members!”) He walks up to a door and opens it slightly to peek inside. He sees no guards so he opens it all the way and walks in. As he walks in, it’s not long before he comes across a large prison cell with all of the Stargazer crew members inside.

Before the crew members can react to seeing him, Dusk puts his index finger up to his lips to signal them to be quiet.

Jeff steps in front of the other crew members and begins whispering. “They want our help with the ship but locked us in here anyway.”

Dusk nods and then whispers. “The dark divine beings only hate light divine beings so you all were spared from being ‘put to work’ at least.”

Laila whispers. “They keep the keys on a wall in this room. Get us to the ship and then at least we can get it and non-combatant crew members to safety.”

Dusk nods as he walks toward the wall to locate the keys. He thinks to himself. (“Not very bright of them to keep the keys in the same room as the prison cell. Though, they must naively think no dark being would ever betray them.”)

Dusk grabs the keys and then uses the correct key on the cell, freeing all the crew members. He whispers. “All right. Let’s get to the ship.”

***

Narrator: Whether intentional or not, the prison that the crew members were locked in connects to the area where the Stargazer is being contained. Thankfully for Dusk and the crew members, they do not need to go through guarded doors to get to the ship. Now, in the room where the ship is contained.

Dusk and the crewmembers have entered the large room with the Stargazer. He looks up at it and whispers to himself. “Don’t you worry, Stargazer, you will be back up in no time.”

Jeff points at the docking ramp and whispers. “How nice of them to have docking stairs lowered. We can go right in.”

***

Narrator: In the ship.

Dusk and the crew members walk throughout the ship. However, Dusk, Jeff, and Laila see a male dark divine being and two male demons near the controls of the ship. Dusk looks at Jeff and Laila and begins whispering. “Get back.”

The dark divine being near the controls looks like the equivalent of a man in his 30s and has curly black hair.

Narrator: The Technology Expert and Head Technician – Tuck.

The two demons are bald and goblin-like with gray skin.

Tuck looks at the controls while speaking to the demons. “We need to figure out how this ship works so we can duplicate it with the materials our slaves are digging for. Continue searching around.”

However, Tuck never gets a response so he speaks again. “Did you hear what I said?”

Tuck turns around to find the two demons dead on the floor with Dusk smiling at him. Dusk then uses his fist and punches the communication system they brought on board to destroy it. He smirks as he begins talking. “Sorry, buddy. You won’t be doing anything to this ship.”

Tuck opens his eyes wide in shock. “What!? But you’re a demon!? What is the meaning of this!?”

Dusk continues his smirk as he replies. “A rebellion.”

Narrator: With no other choice but force, Dusk confronts the dark divine being, Tuck!
