Chapter 676: Dusk vs Tuck

Narrator: Dusk has confronted the dark divine being known as Tuck in the main hub of the Stargazer!

Tuck keeps his cool but speaks with some irritation. “A rebellion? What is the meaning of this? You are a demon.”

Dusk smirks as he begins walking forward. “You’re quite naïve to think that all demons are aligned with your group. I apologize for this but I need to eliminate you.” He begins charging his magic as he walks.

Tuck begins charging his magic too. “You’re making a massive mistake by doing this.”

Dusk lunges forward with his right arm extended forward. He succeeds in grabbing Tuck by the next and then releasing a dark magic power from his hand, damaging Tuck.

Dusk continues smirking. “You’re overmatched. This won’t take long.”

However, Tuck grabs onto Dusk’s arm and uses his other hand to point at Dusk’s face. Dusk opens his eyes wide and lets go of Tuck before jumping out of the way as black magical wires release from Tuck’s fingertips. Dusk succeeds in jumping out of the way but the wires hit and attach to a computer on a desk.

Dusk smirks. “You missed.”

Tuck confidently replies. “Did I?”

A combination of electric and magical power blasts out from the computer screen, fully blasting into Dusk. The attack damages him and leaves minor wounds.

Dusk thinks to himself. (“This is problematic! I have to be careful throughout this battle or the ship may become severely damaged!”)

Tuck releases magical wires from his fingertips again and this time they are headed toward Dusk. Dusk attempts to jump away but the wires hit and attach to his right arm. Dusk grits his teeth as he looks at his arm. “And what does this do for you?”

Tuck charges magic from his hand through the wire. “Just watch.”

Dusk’s arm reverses direction and pounds himself in the face.

As Dusk continues to pound himself in the face, Tuck speaks. “Anything that my wires attach to bends to my will, living or inanimate objects.”

Dusk begins yelling. “Enough of this!!”

Dusk uses his other hand to grab ahold of the wires and rip them off. He then begins rushing toward Tuck. Tuck launches his wires again but Dusk slides on the floor to dodge. He pushes himself off the floor to kick Tuck straight in his gut. Dusk follows that up by grabbing onto Tuck’s shoulders and slamming him face down on the floor. Dusk charges magic into his hand before grabbing onto both of Tuck’s hands.

Dusk releases his magic into Tuck’s hands. “Night Down!”

Dusk’s black-colored magic covers Tucks’s hands. Dusk stands up and begins charging magic throughout his whole body. “With my magic covering your hands. Your wires won’t be able to release. If that’s all you can do, my next attack is going to finish you off.”

Tuck speaks without even a hint of worry. “You really underestimate me.”

Wires form at the base of Tucks’s fingertips and magically attach to Dusk’s magic. Once they do, the wires extend out, carrying Dusk’s magic with it. The wires attempt to attach to Dusk’s hands but he successfully jumps out of the way as the wires attach to a wall with Dusk’s magic dissipating. Dusk holds out his right arm. “Rotting Air.”

Dark air begins swirling around Tuck. The air starts to cut away at his skin.

Dusk begins confidently speaking. “Your wires won’t be able to attach to magic that’s going around your whole body.”

As the dark air continues to cut away at Tuck’s skin, he replies confidently. “Maybe not, however…”

Tuck spreads his fingers out wide and releases wires from every tip that all attach to different devices near where Dusk is standing. Tuck’s control and magic cause electrical energy to blast out of the devices and damage Dusk, ending his concentration and stopping his Rotting Air attack.

Tuck begins rushing toward Dusk as he shouts. “I know exactly what to do with you! You’re mine!”

Tuck returns the wires to his fingertips and then releases one again straight at Dusk’s head. The wire successfully attaches to Dusk’s forehead. Dusk becomes completely immobilized as Tuck smiles with anticipation. “Your fate is sealed.”

Narration: Tuck has managed to attach his wire to Dusk! What will Dusk be able to do!?
