Chapter 685: The Rebellion Commences!

Narrator: Herbigon has broadcasted the order for all of his seeds to sprout! First, a look inside the base.

At a café inside the base, large monstrous plants begin sprouting up from the floor. The plants use their arms to wrap around the shocked dark diving beings and demons, leading to the plants biting down on them.

Various Dark Divine Beings and Demons: “What is going on!?” “What are these plants!?” “I don’t think Lord Ronzic mentioned anything about this!”

Narrator: Now, a look outside the base where the slaves are working.

The monstrous plants sprout up from the ground and begin attacking the supervisors. The supervisors have no time to react due to the sudden appearance of the plants. Other plants use their mouths to break the chains that keep the slaves together. This includes Pearl, Emily, Kurt, Joe, and Kasuma.

Emily: “We’re free!”

Kurt: “At last!”

Joe: “And now we can fight back against these bastards!”

Kasuma: “Yes, but we also have to make sure the crew members are okay!”

Pearl: “You go reunite with the crew. We will handle these guys!”

Not far from them, Slave Director Yotson has been wrapped up by a massive monstrous plant and holds him in the air.

Yotson: (Shouting in panic) “What is the meaning of this!? Who is behind this!?”

The heroes take notice of him. Joe puts his fist into his other hand while smiling confidently.

Joe: “Nice! I’ve been waiting to kick this guy’s ass!”

Narrator: Meanwhile, in a nearby outdoor location.

Laura and Biff watch in shock as the monstrous plants ruin everything.

Biff looks at Laura.

Biff: “You’re in the know about everything that is going on here, Laura, so what is happening!?”

Laura just continues to watch on in shock as she responds.

Laura: “I…! I don’t know! We have to be under attack! But by who?”

Narrator: Meanwhile, in the cave.

A seed that Lavana holds in her hand sprouts a small plant stalk. She grins when she sees it.

Lavana: (Speaking with excitement) “Oh yeah! It’s go time!”

Lavana charges up her magic greatly.

Outside the cave, the top of the mountain begins to rumble. Soon, the top completely explodes in a volcanic eruption. A large wave of lava flows down the mountainside and heads in the direction of the slave grounds. Lavana is surfing on the waves of lava with a massive grin.

Lavana: “YES!! THIS IS AMAZING!! THE REBELLION IS HERE!!”

Narrator: Back inside the base, in the prison cell room.

A medium-sized plant grows sprouts out from a seed attached to Zeth’s body.

Zeth: “All right! I guess it is time!”

The male dark divine being with the unkempt hair walks over to the jail cell to check out Zeth.

Unkempt Male: “What are you saying, light trash— Huh!?”

The unkempt male is shocked as he sees the plant bite through the chains holding Zeth restrained, freeing him.

Zeth smirks as he charges up his magic.

Zeth: “Oh yeah, I’ve been waiting to do this. You’ve been such an annoyance.”

The unkempt male begins to start backing away in fear as he feels Zeth’s overwhelming power.

Unkempt Male: “St-Stand d-down, light tr-trash! I m-mean it!”

Zeth smiles excitedly.

Zeth: “Oh no. You’re not getting off that easily.”

Zeth releases a powerful shockwave of his raw magic power that destroys the prison cell and then begins vaporizing the unkempt male.

Unkempt Male: “Aaaaahhhhhh!!!”

It does not take long before there is nothing left of him.

Zeth walks out of his prison cell and heads toward the exit. On his way out, he notices that his leather jacket is hanging on a hook on the wall. He grabs it and puts it on.

Zeth: “How nice of them to leave my jacket nearby.”

Narrator: On the stage of the auditorium.

Ronzic’s communication device activates. He answers it.

Ronzic: “Yes? What is it?”

Sasha confidently smiles as she looks at him.

Ronzic opens his eyes wide.

Ronzic: “What!? How!?”

Sasha: “Mind if I interrupt? You see, we’ve been planting the Seeds of Rebellion. Our plan is now in action. You were so naïve about no dark divine being ever being friendly with a light divine being that you and your followers were completely unaware of this possibility.”

Madeena: “Sasha… Why? I understand that your friends were treated unfairly but don’t stop us from leaving this depressing planet.”

Sasha: “Sorry, Madeena. There was no choice.”

Madeena starts shaking as her eyes open wide like she is about to have a mental breakdown.

Madeena: “No… Why…? Why do all of this…? We worked so hard for a long time on this project… I was finally going to be useful and liked…”

Sasha: “You need some perspec—"

Ronzic’s anger explodes and interrupts Sasha.

Ronzic: “This is absolutely unacceptable!! I will not allow you or anyone to undo what we have been working toward!! Come, Madeena, we’re leaving!

Madeena nods and runs behind Ronzic backstage.

Sasha: “No! Don’t follow him!!”

Dusk: “Free me so I can help you chase after them.”

Sasha nods and uses her hand to slash through Dusk’s restraints, freeing him. Before they move anywhere, a wall in the auditorium explodes and in comes Zeth through a new large hole in the wall.

Sasha smiles.

Sasha: “Zeth! You’re here!”

Zeth: “Oh, nice! I’m glad I ran into you here! I started beating up some of the guys around this base to demand information on where Ronzic is. I see that he is not here now. Where did he go?”

Sasha looks at Zeth with a serious expression.

Sasha: “The pyramid.”

Narrator: The rebellion has begun! Sasha has concluded that Ronzic and Madeena are heading to Planet Pylon’s pyramid and must give chase!
