Chapter 8:
7 Little Bitchies
Last time, it was about my personal life, but now, let me tell you about me with the girls.
Short version: it was a nightmare.
The long version is this!
I was on holiday with the girls, and I asked them to decide where we wanted to go.
"Beach!"
"Library Center!"
"Golf Course!"
"Museum!"
"Mall!"
"Japan!"
"South Korea!"
I don't think I need to explain who was suggesting what, right?
And usually after this, they were going on a rant about why they were suggesting it. It was always chaos whenever that happened. They never agree on one thing.
And if I wanted them to agree on one thing, then I just need to...
"Hey, guys. I just saw this flair, and it's said there will be a carnival held in this area when the holidays come. Do you guys want to go there?"
They said simultaneously, "YEAH! LET'S!"
I didn't even need to sweat.
"What are we going to do at the carnival, Uta?" Nana asked me curiously.
And then, all six looked at me so intensely.
"Let's just have fun, okay! I don't want anything crazy happening on our holiday." I exclaimed profoundly.
"Okay!" All of them exclaimed simultaneously.
Okay, so!
The stage was set, and I was so nervous going out with my seven bitchies. But it needed to be done because if I didn't treat them equally, I just knew that my life would be done. Not only that, but probably several people's lives would be ruined. It was that serious.
"Let's eat together, Uta!"
"Oh my god! Look, Uta! They have a comic stand! We should visit that booth!"
"Hey, look, they have one of those machines! I want us to hit that and see who's more powerful!"
"What a lot of child's play! Let's find something educational here! Uta's been below the top five recently! Could you all not make him stupider?"
"No way! We're going shopping! I want my prince to choose my new dresses for me!"
"I don't know who to follow, but I'm just going to go with everyone's flow."
"Don't be too naive, Gina. You'll get the advantage of."
It felt like some sort of miracle that I could keep up with these seven. I swore to god.
"Guys! Please! Let's just... I'll decide!"
"Okay", they exclaimed together again.
"I want to be alone today! And I'll let everyone do whatever. I'm sorry to say, but I just can't be with all of you, and you guys expect me to do all of them at once. I am one person! Not multiple persons, let alone seven people."
Everyone was stunned, and Nana spoke, "I got it! I'll march these girls to let you be alone."
"Thanks, Nana!" I knew you weren't expecting that, but hold that expectation; you were still not wrong either.
"I'll be here for a long time, so whenever we bump into each other, then we go on... a date", that my friend was not how you handle seven idiot girls like them. Lesson learned, don't be like me in the past.
Everyone got their eyes sparkled, except for Nana.
Then I finished it with, "Alright, have fun, okay! Don't just bump into me like you do it unintentionally, but fully aware that you do it intentionally."
I left the seven and went on my own merry way. That was what I thought initially, but...
"MY PRINCE! Please just go shopping with me for a while. Please!" I hate that she did the puppy eyes whenever she wanted something.
"What was from my statement that you didn't understand, Yui?! And stop hugging my freaking leg!"
You would probably think that I easily won, and got the piece of my mind through her, right?
WRONG!
"Oh, look at him, ignoring that poor little girl."
"What a miserable sight to see."
"Come on, kids. Just pass them. You all don't need to see this."
"Such a bad boyfriend. She even called him prince."
I BECAME THE VICTIM HERE! WHY WERE YOU ALL BLAMING ME FOR?
"OKAY, FINE! One hour!"
"Yeay!"
One hour later, Yui finally left me alone... but then...
"Oof. What was that?" A ball just flew to my head.
"Ah, I'm sorry, Uta. That was accidental!" Yeah sure, Rai.
"Huh? What are you doing?"
"I'm joining the circus. It has a contract for whoever wants to volunteer to be a temporary member."
"And you wanted to be one?"
"Yeah, of course... Do you want to see my performance?"
"Sure."
"Yes... Thanks, Nana. Your plan is working", she was talking to herself in a low voice, but I could still listen to her.
After about an hour and a half, Railey came to me and asked, "How was my performance, Uta?"
"Eh... that was great. Could do better, but I liked it."
She turned back on me and said, "Ah... ahhh... you... Why do you underestimate me?"
"No, I didn't. I genuinely think that was great for your first attempt at the circus."
She turned back and said, "Hehe. Thanks."
"Okay. I'll be on my way then!"
"Bye!"
I was under the assumption I would at least get some me time, but...
I heard Railey say something to her phone, "Gina. It's your turn!"
And in my mind at the time was, "Fuck. They did make it like it was unintentional, but they planned it all along."
"Oh, hi, Uta."
"He he, yo Gina", what a coincidence.
"What a coincidence we bump into each other", that was my line.
"Yeah, what are you doing now?"
"I wanted to ride that minicarousel. You want to join."
"Yeah sure."
One hour later...
"Thanks for the company, Uta."
"My pleasure."
And then...
"Huh, Hana?"
"You want some?"
She was shoving a cotton candy into my face while saying that.
"Yeah, sure."
"Let's walk in a circle together."
"And the point in that is...?
"A date!"
"Now, I kinda get why Gina feels the need to scream at you."
"Hmm? Why?"
"Nothing. Let's just get it over it."
After an hour of walking and hearing her mumbling nonsense, she left me alone.
Well, not for long, the other comes.
"Uta! Uta! Uta!"
"What is it, Kak Prici?"
"There is a competition at the edge of the carnival. You have to sign it with me!"
"Kak, I don't think..."
"Let's go!"
"Woah..."
Then after forty-five minutes...
"Oh, what? How the..."
"Kak... have you ever thought to yourself, why you always lose to me?"
"Why?"
I looked at her in disbelief, "Never mind. You can discover that by yourself."
"Eh... okay."
"You guys are awesome! You're killing it!"
"Nana?" we both said it at the same time.
"That's me!"
With sarcasm, I responded, "I thought you were trying to find a sweet spot here."
And she responded, "Hey! I don't sleep all the time, you know."
"Oh really?"
Kak Prici then replied to our conversation, "Oh, guess my time has come! I'll let you guys have fun. Bye!" What an angel she is, ey?
"You want to search for a sweet spot together?"
"Yeah. Sure. Why not?"
Another hour later...
"I still couldn't believe that you can eat while sleeping on my freaking thigh. How do you even do that?"
"*Slurp*... Skill!"
"*Slurp*... yeah sure."
After that, I met with the one and only...
"Meli?"
"You spent time with the six and not me first?" You said that, but why does your chick don't turn red? Usually, your cheeks turned red whenever you spat this kind of anger.
"Yeah, yeah. I get it. Let's go on the Ferris Wheel."
"Yeah! You know what I want."
"I mean, you always asked me to join you whenever we were together since childhood, so I don't think I need to be a genius to figure that out."
By the time Meli and I finished the Ferris Wheel, it was already four in the evening.
"Huff... I didn't get a single me time today."
After I said that, the girls had already gathered around behind me. I turned around and said, "You... guys have fun?"
"Yes", they shouted simultaneously.
Well whatever! At least they had fun. That's the most important.
Right?
Yeah, no shot, man. That was a nightmare.
