Chapter 1. A New Life?

Sitting in the hospital bed the 16 year old Cecile felt like her life had been wasted.

After getting in a car crash as a child her life was hanging from a string with death slowly taking her life away, letting her sit in her death bed for years her only escape from the hospital was a full dive game called espearl there she could run and explore she didn't have to worry about the pain of loss or loneliness in the small room that had become her whole world.

In the game she was a royal high elf arch mage for the Elven Kingdom of Gindrell, she would teach at the Royal Mage Academy, and be a large part of the growth in magic in this hyper realistic game of fantasy that had limitless possibilities for her and many others.

But the next day after falling asleep in game without notice this all changed.

"Miss, why are you sleeping at school?" 

Cecile heard a voice and slowly opened her eyes as the sun shone through the windows her body feeling light unlike how she would always feel like she was being weighed down by bricks it was a very reliving feeling the weight being off of her.

"School?" This was weird she hadn't gone to school since she was 6 before the accident, she looked around at this familiar yet very unfamiliar scenery, the game had always looked real but this was on a completely different level, almost as if it were real.

"Oh I must've forgot to log out last night, Logout." When nothing happened she felt a slight feeling of dread inside.

She looked at the girl that seemed concerned about her teacher and the weird things she was saying.

She pinched her hand and felt it, pain was not a function in the game due to laws being passed that forbids it in any full dive game, then she finally understood the dread she had been feeling, she was in the game, not as a player but as Lilly the High Elf Archmage.

She stood up and started looking around, it was definitely her class, from the plants, the windows, the chair arrangement, it was all the same.

She looked down at Emily who was not only her student but the princess or the kingdom, a small girl with brown hair and deep azure blue eyes.

"Hey Emily sorry I was saying nonsense a second ago, I fell asleep doing work just head to your seat for now." 

Emily nodded her head and went to her seat waiting for class to start, and Lilly couldn't wait for it to end to think about everything and get her mind together.

After class when everyone left she got to thinking, "For this to be possible I had to have died, goodbye Cecile hello Lilly!" She said with both sorrow and confidence.

"Now how alike is the game to this world", she said saying as many system commands as she could, Level and Invintory are the only things that worked even map the most used systems command didn't work.

Lilly LV. 2,500 Age 16, Mp.5,000,000,000, health 50,000, ATK.600 MATK.900,000.

Looking at her stats for the first time in a while she saw how overpowered she was, but that's to be expected from the rank one mage player.

Suddenly she had a thought to herself "I have to quit teaching, I was going to do it anyway but now its final, im in a game world I can finally live with my own body.", she said as she started heading for the headmasters office.

 When she reached the headmasters door she was greeted by a short old woman robed in black cloth.

"Hello headmaster I have something I'd like to talk to you about." Lilly said almost frantically.

The small old lady nodded and sat at her desk gestureing for her to sit in the leather seat in front of her.

"So what would you like go talk to me about Lilly?" She was curious as to why Lilly had come to meet her this was not usual unless she was summoned she wouldn't come here without good reason.

"I would like to tell you I'm quiting my job here as a teacher to do other things." Lilly said confident so that she wouldn't be rejected from quitting.

She was a rather large figure that powers wanted to keep in check after all, so she was worried the headmaster would reject this, and she would have to leave on very bad terms.

What the headmaster had feared most finally happened, but she knew it would happen at some point, "Ok I understand but if you ever want to come back we could always use you here.".

Lilly was surprised it was so easy to leave and breathed a sigh of relief hearing this and some of her worries slowly washed away as she thanked the headmaster and left the office and out of the school.

Although Lilly was well know her appearance was a mystery to those of the lower class and many humans, the only thing that people knew of her were her golden eyes as she was the only one who had them even if it was a very customizable game, because of only one reason, it was an event item you could only get on the first day of beta testing if you had chosen the High Elf race, and completed mission in a certain order but this was only released at a later date it was an unknown event that she won by pure luck, due to this she quickly learned to change her eye color via magic as to protect her identity out of the school.

She ran to the kingdom gates she was going to become an adventurer, helping the kingdom in a different way while also experiencing the game she loves so much in real life doing everything she wasn't able to do when she was alive before, she wanted to experience life, but things can not always be easy, as soon as she stepped out of the kingdom gates, black.
