Episode TWO…

Trisha Yuriko: New Members approaching

Continuing straight after the first episode. Trisha and Tanuki are now party members and headed towards a village is the forest Kanlaon where a beast known as the Amomongo. An giant albino ape that attacks life stock and people with it’s large hands. The two adventurers were dispatched to kill or detain the beast, by any means necessary. Trisha has evacuated all farmers in the area to a safe location while the beast rages through the village.

[Trisha] All Farmers and villagers evacuated. All livestock move to safe location

The Amomongo bursts from one of the houses and let out a loud roar.

[Tanuki] Alright Lets move!!

The two warriors with weapons in hand charge at the beast

{Trisha and Tanuki} HAAAAAAA!

Opening Theme Plays

Tanuki swings his sword with a barrage of slashes. Blocking the swings with its arms and punching him backwards into a rock. The beast roars ready to attack. Picks up a near by tree and throws it towards Tanuki. Trisha runs at the flying tree and wacks it with Tentora spitting the tree in half.

[Trisha] Water Ball Barrage!

Trisha puts out her hand and 4 water ball projectiles each the size of a tennis ball launch from her palm and hit the beast in the face knocking it over for a brief moment. The beast rushes at Trisha as

She jumps to avoid it’s grasp

[Trisha] Oh Shit!

but gets swatted out of the air and smashes into the ground leaving a dirt creator trail behind as she slides into a rock.

[Trisha] GAHH!! Ow ow ow ow

She gets up rubbing the back of her head. The beast lets out a loud roar as it reveals its large claw blades out of its fingers. As it charges to swipe at Trisha, Tanuki stops it’s claws with his sword. A small fight between sword and claw take place. Tanuki finds and opening and knocks it into a tree.

[Tanuki] I call upon the power of the Zodiac.

Tanuki puts his sword into the ground, makes the hand sign for Tiger and claps his hands

[Tanuki] Zodiac Technique: Flaming Tiger Palms!

His fists become engulfed with fire as he runs towards the beast. He lets out a yell as he hits the beasts with a barrage of punches.

[Tanuki] THIS WILL BE THE FINAL BLOW!

Raising his fist for a 10th time he punches it in the face as a tigers roar sounds in the background. The beast goes flying across a lake into the mountain side.

[Tanuki] You alright?

He puts his hand out to help her of the ground.

[Trisha] Yeah yeah, thank you for the help. If we get paid for this you can have the riches since I didn’t do much.

Tanuki grabs his bag by the tree and pulls out a small crystal orb and taps it. A holographic image of Akira appears

[Tanuki] Target eliminated. Headed back to the guild now

[Akira] Excellent we will have the reward when you get back.

Officials of the village took care of the remains of the beast using it for food and other materials. The two warriors headed back to the guild to received 10 gold and 30 sliver each equivalent to 250 dollars in Earth money. Tanuki got 3 extra gold equivalent to 30 dollars.

[Akira] Nice bounty you two. Excellent work out there.

[Trisha] Credit goes to Tanuki for this one

Tanuki scratches his head and blushes out of embarrassment. Tanuki stands and bumps into a new face hes never seen before.

[Koko] Watch where you going idiot.

She was a short girl with crimson red hair. She wore all black with a pink scarf around her neck. Trisha noticed the knife strapped to her right leg.

[Tanuki] Quite the mouth you got there pipsqueak

[Trisha] Don’t get carried away now, what’s your name young one

[Koko] Koko Hanagami, Sniper of the North Wind Gate. Hired by the guild for a job. Never seen you’re faces around her before. And I’m 24 despite my height.

[Tanuki] Names Tanuki. I’ve seen you here before sometimes

[Trisha] Trisha Yuriko from Dargor Pass. Newest member of the guild

[Koko] Yuriko? As in the famous warrior, Taiyaki Yuriko

[Trisha] Actually yeah... He’s my father

[Koko] Interesting, you do look like him

[Tanuki] So what mission are you on now pipsqueak.

Koko] Shut up idiot…

[Akira] So I see your all equented with one another

[Tanuki] Equented is an understatement

Akira shrugged it off and hands Koko a piece of paper.

[Akira] I have an assignment for all of you. You will be teaming up for this one. A request has come in from the Afuro Clan village to the east. There’s a swordsmen that needs assistance with 2 unknown assassins spotted in the area. Goes by the name Gotaro, please head to his location. It will be easy you can handle it.

Akira hands the group a map to the village and gives a thumbs up. It will be a 8 hour trip on foot. Sometime later, the trio head off on their journey to find this swordsmen. About 6 hours into the trip have passed since they left.

[Koko] Gahhh… How much longer we’ve been walking for hours..

[Trisha] We should be there soon Koko, the village should be up here

Soon the trio reach the village Takinoue no mura (The Village above the Waterfall) A beautiful mountainside village next to a beautiful waterfall named the Blue Jewel Upon arrival a tall man with a large but curly afro green hoodie and sword on his hip is seen sitting on a rock.

[Trisha Narration] Is he sleeping?

[Tanuki] He looks dead to me

[Trisha] Hey, are you sleep

[Koko] OI!! OLD MAN WAKE UP (Koko pokes the guy on the rock)

[Afuro]Who the hell you calling old, child.

[Koko] How do you know that, your eyes aren't even open

[Tanuki] Umm Koko… He’s blind

[Afuro] hehe curly over their got it right

[Koko] But how did he…

[Afuro] Many years ago, I had a master who taught me how to see, not with my eyes but with other senses. I can figure out who or what is happening by feeling the area around me with an ability called clairvoyance. I can tell if someone is male or female by how they walk, talk, or even fight. Interesting no.

He opened his eyes and showed them his faded whites.

[Trisha] Ooo, That is interesting. I’d love to have a match with you sometime. But we got a notice from Akira you needed assistance.

[Afuro] Before that, Introductions are in order wouldn’t say.

[Trisha] I am Trisha Yuriko

[Tanuki] Tanuki Yoshi, It’s a pleasure.

[Koko] Koko Hanagami, Don’t forget it

[Afuro] I am Gotaro Afuro, Most call me Mr Afuro for short

[Tanuki] Is it because of the…

[Afuro] Yes, because of the hair, Anyway I summoned for the guilds help with this mission because it involved a friend of your father Trisha.

[Trisha] You knew dad

[Afuro] I’ve heard stories but never met the guy. We have word that a warrior of the gunslinger class. His name Stanley Tetsuo who was assassinated 1 day ago by a group called the Undertakers. I needed assistance to go investigate.

[Tanuki] Oh I’ve heard of them, famous assassin police force that helped clean up after the war sometime ago right?

[Afuro] Indeed but most members became rogue and became professional Assassins. In recent years they’ve killed known military members who fought during the war. No one understands why.

The trio look down in silence as they think about what they just got themselves into

[Trisha Narration] What the hell Akira you said this would be simple dammit

She gave a sarcastic look at the group with an eerie smile.

[Trisha] Sounds like fun…

[Afuro Koko and Tanuki] She’s not happy…

[Afuro] I move out the day after tomorrow but in the meantime make your selfs at home.

[Tanuki] What about your aunt Trisha?

[Trisha] I left a note

Back at Brook’s house…

[Anya] Im home… Oh whats this?

[Trisha Narration] “Be back in 3 days, off on mission take care - Love Trisha

[Ayna] Guess I’m free today.

(Ayna heads out the house and goes to the guilds bar humming to herself)

[Trisha] She’ll be fine

As night began to fall Afuro invited them to dinner prepared by the cooks of the village. A spread of a meat of a brown spotted pig, bread, pickled vegetables and rice were served.

[Trisha] YUMMM LOOK AT THIS SPREAD!!!

[Koko] Im so excited, Im starving…

Her Stomach began to rumbles

[Tanuki] Alright Let’s eat

[Trisha Tanuki Koko and Gotaro] THANK YOU FOR THE FOOD!!!

While everyone ate a young man with glasses and puffy hair walked into the room

[Itamae] I am Itamae Afuro, head chef of the clan. Hope the food is to your liking.

[Afuro] Indeed brother, Your cooking has improved since last time

[Tanuki] The pickled radish and pork are amazing

[Trisha] I love the sweet bread. What about you ko…

[Koko] *Burp* I ate to much…

After dinner everyone left for bed

[Afuro] There are more then enough beds so please take your pick

[Tanuki] Nah, Im alright. I’m use to sleeping outside. I’ll find a nice tree to sleep in and to keep lookout for tonight

Everyone goes their separate ways for bed.

The next morning Afuro calls for morning training.

[Afuro] Good Morning, Tanuki my boy come down here for second

Tanuki pops out of the tree he was sleeping in and hangs

upside down from a near branch

[Tanuki] How’s it hanging Mr. Afuro, sleep well

[Afuro] Eh, more or less. Anyway I want to test your skills first before todays mission if you up for the challenge.

The two gear up for battle.

[Tanuki] Alrighty no holding back, give it all you got

Afuro nods in agreement and raises his hand to start the match. He stands with his hands behind his back as his sword remains at his hip. Tanuki eager to fight draws his sword and rushes at Afuro who dodges it. Swinging his sword over and over again while Gotaro continues to dodge.

[Tanuki] Dammit, take this fight seriously

With a smirk Afuro draws his blade with lightning speed. The 2 swords men clash blades with such speed and precision. With 2 swift strikes Afuro knocks the sword out of Tanuki’s had and it lands into the ground behind him.

[Afuro] A bit slow, but always room for improvement. Who taught you swordsmen ship.

[Tanuki] I taught myself, I know I’m bad at it

[Afuro] I see, I will teach you all I know

[Tanuki] Oh really, Thank you. Can I call you sensei?

[Afuro] Sure

Trisha came out of one of the buildings she was sleeping in cleaning her glasses as she approaches Afuro and Tanuki

[Trisha] What’s with all the noise, Im was trying to sleep… oh what are you guys up to.

[Afuro] Ah Trisha just in time. Go with Tanuki to wake Koko please.

[Trisha] Gotcha

She salutes and her and Tanuki head off to find Koko

[Afuro Narration] The boy is strong. I feel someone who has experienced pain suffering and loss. I can feel he was holding back. He needs to learn to use his gifts in battle, he’ll get there he just needs time. This mission will truly put them to the test and I’ll see what they can do without holding back.

Afuro puts his sword back in his holster. He heads back to pack his things for the mission. Screen fades to black…
