The Hated Child Of God

While Skadi and Wicshek were still in the centre tent discussing, and before the events of the dinner and Edward and Alwis were still taking a nap.
A ball rolls in the tent in which Edward was. A small girl enters the tent and picks up the ball that rolled in. She hits the table as she tries to leave the tent which make a loud cluttering noise. "ouch." says she as she holds her leg.
This commotion wakes Edward up while Alwis was still fast asleep. He rubs his eyes as he notices the little girl who was holding her leg.
"Who are you?," he adds, "did you hurt your leg?", he enquires as he walk towards the little girl to help her.
"It's all okay Mister. I just bopped my legs with the table." she says.
"You say that you're okay, but look at you, you're about to cry," says Edward as he takes a step forward to help the little to stand up. He adds, "Here, give me your hand."
The little girl lifts her hand up and makes a stop sign. “I'm not crying, I can stand up myself." she says as big blobs of tear build up in both her eyes as she tries to hold them back. 
"I am a strong girl."
"Now stop acting all tough, here," Edward lifts the little girl up and puts her on the table. He looks for where she hurt herself. "ouch, it's bleeding and swollen!" he says as he looks at her knee. “You should have some older person have look at it", he says.
"Older person? Aren't you too an older person, Mister?", she says.
Edward suddenly realised that he is also an older person to her. "By older I mean like your mom or someone like that. And stop calling me 'mister', I'm not that old. Call me Edward. That's my name.", says Edward as he helps the little girl back down.
“Ok! Edward! My name is Aninsti”, she says,
“Aninsti, that is a cute name”, replies Edward.
"There is old lady Baba, she treats everyone's hurts." says Aninsti.
"Ah..."
"Well then, Alwis is still asleep, sooo, I'll take you to her." Edward look at Alwis as he thought that he could accompany them as he was not familiar with this place or the people here. He thought, "you never know what can trigger people here in this world. I don't want to get hacked by magic and get vaporised".
Edward takes the little girl to "Baba". Baba's tent was on the other side of the island when compared to the site where Edward and party had gotten up.
On his way there he saw that one side of the floating land was agricultural area. The people of the island grew vegetable and fruits on the island itself so that they can stay self sufficient and that they don't need to go down. There must have been a serious reason that they kept themselves afloat other just culture.The people looked just as magnificent as always, even when they were doing labours work. Their well shaped body covered in sweat and mud looked like of those of models you saw in magazines.
Aninsti and Edward met Baba and got Aninsti healed. Baba used minor healing magic on the swelling. Then both of them took their leave from Baba's tent and were on their way back to tent when they met other kids of the island who were Aninsti’s friends.
“Aninsti where did you go with the ball!”, says one of the boy,
“we were waiting for you”, says one of the girl,
“Hey mister! Where did you take Aninsti to eh?”, the boy questions.
“What is up with the children on this island”, Edward says to himself, “Don't call me ‘mister’ my name is Ed-”
“His name is Edward, and he took me to Baba because I hurt myself. Stop questioning him like he is a bad guy, he is a really nice person. He is just as nice as brother Nikkito.”, says Aninsti as she cuts Edward in mid while he was telling his name.
“auh awh uh... Sorry”, says the boy.
“It's fine, don't sweat about it.”, says Edward. Edward thinks that if he want's to get close to the people then he should first befriend the kids.
“Aninsti hand me the ball, I'll show you guys a trick”, Edward asks Aninsti for the ball. Aninsti hands it to him.
“Let me show you one of the games we play in the lands that I come from. It's called ‘Football’. In it you play with the ball using your feet.”, says Edward,
“Duh! We get that from the name. Show is how it is played”, says that boy.
“Wait a sec little boy, I am showing it to you.”, replies Edward, as he thinks to himself, “Huh, I used to play for the school team years back, I'll show this smug ass kid some cool tricks and whip that smirk of his face”.
“Here I go, look careful”, says Edward as he starts showing them some football tricks.
He shows them the rainbow, around the world, Puskas move, etc. That mesmerizes the kids and leaves them at an aw. Aninsti was the one who got the most amazed and had a bright sparkle in her eyes after she saw Edward doing the tricks.
Aninsti tugs Edward's hand and goes, “Edward Edward, teach me how to play fo-fu-fufball!”.
“Sure will teach you how to play ‘fufball’. Haha”, Says Edward as he laughs at how adorably Aninsti says ‘fufball’.
“Mr.Eh-Eh?-Ehhhh?-Epword. I have been looking everywhere for you. It's dinner time so I came to call you. I had brought a change of cloths for you in your tent but weren't there so I started looking for you.”, says the lady who had attended Edward and Alwis when they had arrived at the island.
“I see, I'm so sorry. I went out with Aninsti to have her checked by Baba and things happened.”, replies Edward.
“Anyways it is a good thing that I found you on time. So come on we should get going.”, she says.
“But Edward you said that you will teach my how to fufball! I am not leaving you until you teach me how to do it.”, Aninsti persists.
“Aninsti, Mr.Epword, Ms.Skadi and other guests are having dinner in the same hall as Elder Wicshek so we all are heading towards the same place, you can stay with him, but at least leave him alone when is changing him clothes.”, says the lady.
“Yeah!”, exclaims Aninsti.
“I see that little Aninsti has taken a liking to you, you must be a really nice person.”, says the lady as she looks at Edward.
“It's nothing like that. I just do what anyone else would do.”,
“That aside, what about Alwis?”, asks Edward.
“Mr. Alwis already changed and have headed for the dining hall way early.”, she answers.
“That's cool”, says Edward as he, Aninsti and the lady head towards his tent.
“Aren't the other kids also going to come for dinner?”, asks Edward.
“Yes they are, but in different hall.”, she answers.“Different hall? What do mean by that?”, He asks another question.
“We Halotisisics, have dinner before the night fall and all have it at the same time, we can't have a big enough tent for all of us to fit in it at the same time and it is not possible for other member who live on the other side to come all the way to this end every time, so we have 2 tents in all the sectors of the island, that makes it 6 tents in total so that we all can have dinner at the same time. It is our tradition.”, she explains.
“You guys sure love your traditions.”, says Edward,“Doesn't everyone?”, she replies.
“So that means that Aninsti’s family will be in the same hall, right?”, Edward enquires,
“Yes, she is the granddaughter of Elder Wicshek”, she replies.
“Yes! Yes! My grandpa is the leader of our tribe”, says Aninsti cheerfully.
“That is news to me. I still haven't met him personally but I would like to.”, says Edward.They proceed towards the dinning hall. Meanwhile Alwis too was heading towards the dinning hall after getting changed into Halotisisic’s outfit.
“Jeez. Old man Wicshek sure does have some incredible magic. I wonder how many times a day he uses it.”, says Alwis as he taps his feet on the ground while enquiring it.
He looks up and notices Tania, who too was wearing the Halotisisic’s outfit and was heading towards the dinning hall.
“Hey you!”,
“Little missy girl who can't even make a water sphere”, Alwis calls out to Tania who then turns towards Alwis then relies with, “Who was it?”, she adds, “I see, it was Mr. Sky Tree. Can you go and jump off the edge of this island and dive into whichever lake we are over, and if we are not over one, then please wait till we get over one then jump off?”.
“I am average height for a Dark Elf, missy. And that was a horrible comeback.”, says Alwis as he walk towards Tania and joins her on her was to the dinning hall.
“You're really mean Alwis.”, she replies,
“Aren't I the best?”, he says.
“No, you aren't”, she adds, “What were you doing on this side, isn't your tent closer to the hall?”, she asks.
“Forget that and answer me, are you interested in that new guy, Edward?”, says Alwis as he cleverly avoids answering that question and counters it with another question which startles Tania.
“W-w-WHAT are you saying? STOP ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS!”, she exclaims.
Alwis notices that he has the upper hand in this conversation. He takes advantage of it and say, “Well, that wasn't a ‘’no’, am I right?”, 
“I-I'm not obligated to answer you.”, she replies,
“I see. So that means that I can take him? Huh?”, he says.
Tania starts to gets pissed as she fumbles, “I-aaa-you, no-you-uhhh-”
Alwis says, “Aaaaand I was just joking. You don't need to get so worked up, Tania”.
Alwis keeps teasing Tania till they reach the dinning hall. Then they enter the hall and the events of the dinner take place. Everyone then leaves for their own tents but Edward strolls around for a bit, he then is guided towards the tent Wicshek was in. He enters the tent and is greeted by Wicshek, “Hello there young man, have a seat. I have been waiting for you. Would you like some tea?”.
“Yes, thank you.”, replies Edward as he takes a seat.
“I believe that you have questions that you want answers to, and so do I. Skadi told me that you are not related to any of the kingdoms so I will not question you about that because I have complete faith in Skadi and I respect her decisions. If she trusts you without knowing anything about you, then so will I.”, says Wicshek,
“Elder Wicshek, I really appreciate the fact that you trust me and also the fact the Skadi believes in me. When I woke up in Skadi’s carriage, I was really confused and didn’t know where I was. Knowing that the very first people I meet are so nice and welcoming, I don't know what would have happened to me if I got involved with some shady plot in this unknown land. I really am grateful for you warm hospitality.”, says Edward with a soft look in his eyes.
“With that said, I'll give you the honour of asking the first question.”, says Edward.
“I am really happy to hear that. I'll ask the first question then. Would you like to have some biscuits with your tea? ”, asks Wicshek as he hands the cup of tea to Edward.
Edward chuckles, ”Yeah, sure!”, as he answers.
Wicshek brings a tray of biscuits out from the drawer and places it in front of Edward who takes a biscuit and asks Wicshek a question while munching on it “Why do you guys have your dinner so early?”, he asks.
“A floating island is something that is easily visible at night, if it is well lit that is. So we have our dinner really quick so that we can stay low during the night and don't attract attention. Our tribe isn't really liked down there on lands, so we had to take refugee in the sky. Most of our tribe doesn't know about this, they believe that it is our tradition because I tell them that. I don't want my beloved children to know this. I am telling you this because you are with Skadi, she and Alwis both know about this and our tribes history, and I believe that Alwis has told Tania with my permission. Edward, please don't tell any of my tribe members about this.”, says Wicshek as he requests Edward not to tell any of the tribe members what he just told him.
“Elder Wicshek, you have my word. I promise that I, Edward Parker, will not utter a word about what you just told me or are about to tell me, to your tribe.”, says Edward as he swears that he will not tell any of the tribe members about their history.
“You really are a great person, aren't you?”, says Wicshek while praising Edward.
“Can you please tell me more about your tribe? It would really help me to understand how the world here works.”, says Edward with a serious face.
“You want to learn about our tribes history?”, says Wicshek, “I'll tell you”, he adds.
“Really? Isn't that a sensitive topic for you? You'll tell me this easily?”, asks Edward,
“Yes, because I know that how big of a chatter mouth Skadi is, I know that she won't tell any of that tribe members but I don't believe that she wouldn’t tell any of her group members about out history and origin as a campfire side story.”, says Wicshek while doing the old man “hoho” laugh. Edward laughs awkwardly.
Wicshek starts telling him about his ancestor who started this tribe.
“I'll keep it brief. If you want to know more details then you can comeback to me or you can ask Skadi she knows just as much as I know.”, says Wicshek.The atmosphere gets heavy and the tension in the air rises as Wicshek starts tell Edward about the history of their tribe. What happened back then that made Halotisisics take an exile in the skies?
Wicshek begins, “Long ago in a Village of the Azure Phoenix Kingdom, a man fell down from the sky into the pond in middle of the a village. The people of the village rushed towards the pond to witness what had fallen down from the sky”
