Chapter 734: Inspiring Yourself

“Just who are you?” DL Zeth asks. “Why do you two look like us?”

He looks at DL Pearl. “And is that you, Pearl? What’s going on?”

DL Sasha curls her fingers like she is ready to fight. “If you impostors are here to take us back, I’ll kill you where you stand.”

Zeth and Sasha chuckle.

“Relax,” Zeth says. “We’re not here to fight or make you do anything you don’t want to do.”

“I know it’s hard to believe, but we are the same as you,” Sasha adds. “We are also Sasha and Zeth.”

DL Zeth and DL Sasha widen their eyes, trying to process the possibility they are the same people.

“B-But how?” DL Zeth asks. “We don’t have any twins or anything.”

“Are you clones?” DL Sasha asks.

“No, they’re from an alternate universe,” DL Pearl states with a serious expression. “It’s a long story.”

The DL counterparts’ jaws drop.

“How is that possible!?” DL Zeth gasps.

“We can tell you the whole story, but as your Pearl already said, it will be long,” Zeth acknowledges.

DL Sasha recovers from her shock and says, “I want to hear the whole story. Let’s talk about it over some coffee.”

“Sure thing,” Sasha replies.

Later, in a nearby Dimension of Deities coffee shop.

The pairs of Zeths and Sashas, as well as DL Pearl, sit at a table by a window. All five of them have their own cup of coffee.

“Wow, sounds like you two are in a tough situation,” DL Zeth says.

“I’m sorry that you’ve been dragged into our universe’s conflict,” DL Sasha adds.

“That’s okay,” Sasha replies with a smile. “It gave us perspective on how our relationship would be affected if Lady Harmona wasn’t approving of us being together.”

“Yeah, in our universe, Mom was immediately accepting of us,” Zeth adds before chuckling. “In this universe, she was pissed.”

A tear drops from DL Zeth’s left eye as he smiles with relief. “To think it’s possible for the conflict to end…”

“I don’t think it would be as simple as killing my mother in this universe,” DL Sasha says. “But it’s nice to dream of a better future.”

DL Zeth shakes his head. “I think we can do it. Once they see the evidence of it all working out, they can be convinced.”

Zeth smiles. “We’d be glad to help you end the conflict.”

“It sure would be fun to take down my mother again,” Sasha says with a slight sadistic smile.

DL Sasha giggles. “We even smile the same way.”

DL Pearl focuses on Zeth and Sasha. “I’m sure you two saw it. There’s something in this dimension that we should turn our attention to.”

“I know exactly what you’re talking about,” Zeth replies with a serious expression.

“You did mention hunting for pyramids,” DL Zeth says. “There is one here in this dimension. Whether or not it’s related to your mission, I couldn’t say.”

“Let’s head there now,” Zeth suggests. “This is a great opportunity.”

Later, outside the pyramid of the Dimension of Deities.

The pairs of Zeths and Sashas, and DL Pearl stand near the entrance of the pyramid, taking in the full view of it.

“We’re going in,” Zeth states, his eyes narrowed with anticipation.

“Hopefully, we get more time to study this one,” Sasha says.

They head in through the opening at the bottom. Inside, they immediately come to a conclusion.

“The inside of this pyramid is exactly like the one we found on the planet we landed on before being sent to the alternate universe,” Zeth notes. “They have to be connected!”

“I just know we’ll learn something this time,” Sasha adds. “Let’s all spread out and search.”

They all do as Sasha suggests, spreading out to search different areas of the pyramid. It’s not long before someone finds something interesting.

“I found something!” DL Pearl shouts. “Come over here!”

The pairs of Zeths and Sashas make their way over to DL Pearl and see what she has found, a bubbling jar with pure dark energy seeping out of its rumbling lid.

Zeth and Sasha widen their eyes.

“This is it!” Zeth gasps.

“That energy is made of the Abyss!” Sasha exclaims.

“Then this confirms your suspicions about the pyramids,” DL Zeth states.

“I admittedly know nothing about the abyss,” DL Sasha says. “But if what you said about it is true, we should destroy this jar and the pyramid entirely.”

“But what purpose does the pyramid have?” DL Pearl asks. “You told us that you have seen these pyramids on multiple planets, but for what reason are they there?”

Zeth places his hand up to his chin, staring at the jar like he is in deep thought. He mumbles to himself, “A pointed top… A storage source… A monument to power…”

He looks at the others. “I have a theory. The purpose of the pyramids is to spread the abyss across an entire planet. That’s why they’re on multiple planets. Being in this dimension means that dimensions need their own pyramids.”

“Wouldn’t it take a lot of time for the Abyss Deity to come to all these places to activate the pyramids?” Sasha wonders.

“We don’t know if he needs to,” Zeth replies. “It’s possible they could remotely activate.”

“That’s a troubling thought,” Sasha says.

“Let’s destroy it,” DL Sasha suggests. “Don’t take any chances.”

“I agree,” DL Zeth says.

Zeth forms a Star Shine Blast in his left hand, aiming it at the jar. “Let’s see what happens.”

He fires the Star Shine Blast directly at the jar. It explodes on contact, completely destroying the jar. The abyss energy dissipates into nothing.

The entire pyramid immediately begins to rumble like there is an earthquake.

“I don’t like the sound of that!” DL Pearl shouts.

“I think we should get out of here!” DL Zeth shouts.

The pyramid starts crumbling apart.

“Good call,” Zeth agrees.

With no time to lose, the five of them dash toward the exit, dodging crumbling pyramid pieces in the process. The pyramid fully collapses as they dive out of the exit. They turn around to gaze at the rubble.

“I think the fact that the pyramid fell apart as soon as the jar holding the abyss was destroyed confirms your theory, Zeth,” Sasha says.

Zeth nods. “I agree. But for now, let’s finish our business with this universe’s conflict. We’re going to end it.”

Meanwhile, in the Tyrant Alternate Universe.

Rom and Tyrant Sasha continue their talks.

“Don’t you feel a bit sidelined?” Rom asks.

Tyrant Sasha raises an eyebrow. “What do you mean?”

Raylee flies around the room, shouting with glee, “You could be doing so much more than standing around in this room watching what the others are doing!”

“Exactly as she says,” Rom says with a grin. “I think I have something to pique your interest.”

“Go on,” Tyrant Sasha replies.

“I’m offering you the chance to make your move in the Earth of the main universe.”

Tyrant Sasha’s expression shifts from neutral to a sinister smile. “I accept.”

A new sinister plot develops.
