Chapter 45:

AFTERWORD

Zero.

Yo, this is Gurg.

Honestly, I don’t know what to feel about this. There’s this sense of purpose that I lost for finishing this because I know that I won’t be touching the story for a very long time. I’m dumb, and I don’t want to overcomplicate things. I’m not a fan of asking either, since I’m very shy.

But, I’m grateful to you all… who’ve read and managed to reach this point. For those who jumped and read the afterword first, fuck you.

Just kidding.

The mere thought of you using a bit of your precious time to read something or check Zero is enough to keep me going.

I wanted to play around with the Filipino Mythos. I don’t know, but it seemed fun. I just gave it a little touch instead of being vanilla, and some ended up dying (might be more on that on other books or the stuff following Zero). I gave them fun personalities, turning them into petty sons of bitches with questionable intentions and moral compasses pointing the wrong way.

Makes it a bit more fun to simp for them too XD.

But, it’s time to go beyond, and go UwU

I’m grateful to those who’ve read my work. I’ve interacted with you, you know who you are, and I’m blessed to have you people read my work. You’ve compelled me to grow.

I wrote my work like a game master sharing what happens to a person in a TTRPG setting. I’d like to think that it’s conversational, maybe a lil bit dramatic, and random, chaotic, and I wish that you had fun with it, and would have the fun of sharing it with other people.

I know that some of my POV characters are hard to follow, but I’m happy that you’ve stuck with it. I’ll do my best to make it better, or give up and use characters that would articulate what’s happening LMAO.

This past month has been a blast. I’m glad that I was consistent.

It was an honor to write with you all.

Now, onto the next book—
