Threefold loophole

On the board over, an intense match between Zsa Zsa and Iori opened with g3, g6, and c4, the Great Snake Variation.

"Fucking genderbent bootleg. I'd never botch shit like that, or is being a femboy failure part of his roleplay?" Iori thought as she moved her bishop to g7.

Zsa Zsa didn't seem to care one way or the other in regards to how that match went, or any other one, her eyes focused solely on Iori as she moved her pawn to d4.

"Ugh, I should've gone for something different, but I heard in the briefing this girl was one of the nastiest players on the team," Iori thought as she moved her pawn to c5.

Zsa Zsa then moved her pawn to d5 as Iori thought for a bit before moving her knight to f6.

"Nothing to do with this. Ugh, I hate games like this. Should've gone f5," Iori thought as Zsa Zsa quickly moved her knight to c3. "I've never been in a position like this. Ugh, maybe I need to get trained like Oki-kun was," she thought as she moved her pawn to d6.

On a different board, Venera and Ugne locked eyes with each other. "I can see my reflection in that smooth dome of yours, sorry the ink on mine ruins it for you. But feel like taking the draw role?" Venera thought as she opened moving her knight to c3. Ugnė smirked and responded by moving her knight to c6, eliciting a smirk back from Venera as she quickly moved her knight back to b1. Ugnė then moved her knight back to g8, resetting the board, before both her and Venera repeated the same moves until the game was drawn due to threefold repetition.

Though verbal draw agreements were allowed, a minimum of 20 moves needed to be played before one could be offered. That being said, there were no rules stating that threefold repetitions needed to last that long. Thus, the game was drawn in under 5 moves.
