Phoenix Dragon

"Heyyyy IORI!!!!!, WHERE ARE YOU!?" shouted Miya

Iori looked back at the direction where the sound came from. "Huh, looks like she's close". Iori sent out a single mana thread to lead Miya to him. After two minutes Miya arrived where Iori was. When she got there she was out of breath and tired from running. She walk over to where the little girl was unconscious and sat against the tree. Iori stared at her and walked towards her and patted Miya on the head. Miya looked at Iori all flustered. Iori smiled at her and Miya covered her face with her hands.

"What are you smiling at!?" shouted Miya

"Keep quiet, you'll wake her up and whats wrong with smiling?" Iori sat down.

"Huh, who is sleeping?" Miya looked at Iori confusedly

Iori pointed next to Miya. 

Miya looked next to her and saw no one. "Heyy Iori there is no one there, are you okay and why did you suddenly run this way anyway?"

"Oh I forgot" Iori lifted the concealment spell that was over the little girl. "There, you'll wake her up"

Miya looked again and saw the little girl laying there and immediately jump away towards Iori "Whe-where did she come from?...Is she dead?...Did you kill her?" asked Miya 

"I would like to find out when she wakes up and no she's not dead and why would I kill her?" Iori looked at Miya confusedly.

"How would I know why you would want to kill her?" Miya laughed softly

"What's so funny?" asked Iori curiously

"Nothing...nothing at all" Miya laughed softly again

"Females are weird and complicated. I will never understand them". Iori thought while walking away from Miya.

The grass rustled and the little girl started moving around and shouted "STOP IT AND GO AWAY, DON'T HURT MY FAMILY AND MY FRIENDS, I DON'T WANT TO RUN AWAY!!!" in her sleep. Iori looked over at the little girl and looked away again. Miya moved to the little girl and lifted her up and hugged her and whispered to the little girl "Shhhhh it's okay, you can relax now I've got you". The young girl comed down and after a few minutes the little started waking up. 
The girl saw the crest on Miya's armor and immediately punched Miya. Miya let go of the little girl and backed off a little bit and the girl tried to run but she fell over. Iori looked at the girl and the little looked and saw Iori. Her eye's opened wide and quickly got up ran towards Iori and hid behind him.

"What was that for!!!?" Miya looked over at the girl and saw she was hidding behind Iori. "Iori do mind telling what's happening?"

"I honestly don't know" Iori turned around and looked at the little

The little girl was about to fall but Iori caught her and gently put her down. The little girl smiled and thanked Iori for cathing her. Miya walked towards the little girl and Iori. When she saw Miya walking towards them she forcefully absorbed  some of Iori's mana and tried to launch a sneak-attack attack at Miya but Iori stopped the attack just by waving his hand.

"Why did you stop my attack?....she is the enermy. Her friends attacked my village and nearly killed everyone" the girl started crying

"My friends?" asked Miya

"Yes poeple with the same crest as yours, don't pretend you don't know" 

"What are you talking about?" asked Iori

"Last night an army led by three very strong mages attacked us and some of the younger males were taking by the soliders and the females too and the others like old and babies were killed on the spot" the young girl started crying.

"I see" Iori looks at Miya. Miya looks at Iori and shakes her head. "Heyy Miya why aren't you with the other soliders and why were you floating in the river half to death?"

Miya's eye's open up wide "Didn't I tell you?"

Iori shakes his head slowly. Miya explained how the group she was traveling with attacked and tried to kill her. During that battle Miya managed to escape in the river that Iori found her in. Iori walked to Miya and patted her on her head. Miya looked up and saw Iori's expressionless face but his were another thing cause it turned red filled with blood lust. 

Miya grabbed Iori's hand and told him "Don't worry I'm okay now and I didn't know you back than so don't worry about it I'll handle it myself" 

"You know me now don't you" 

Miya was speechless after that and she just started crying. Iori walked over to the little girl and asked her to tell them everything that happened. The little girl nodded and started explaining everything from the start of the attack until everything that led till now.

"Thank you for telling me" Iori reached out to the little girl and poured his mana into her so she could regain her strength.

"Will you help me get back the people from my village" cried the little girl

Iori nodded "stay here with Miya while I go out and see what the situation is at your village, I should be back by night fall"

"No I don't want to stay with her, I want to stay with you big brother"

"WHAAAT, how can he be your big brother he doesn't even know you" shouted Miya

Iori turned to the little girl and wondered if he had met her before.

"My name is Linling" said Linling with a smile

When Iori heard her name everything became clear "She is from a clan called Phoenix Dragon Union"

"So you remembered big brother Iori" Linling smiled

"Why would I forget about it, I had a close relationship with the clan"

Miya looked at both of them confusedly "Wait does anyone want to explain everything to me and how come I never heard of the so called Phoenix Dragon clan?"

Iori took of his shirt and turned around. On his back was a Dragon tattoo and Linling lifted her shirt and turned around and on her back was a tattoo of a Phoenix. Both tattoo's started glowing again. "The Phoenix Dragon clan had close relationship with my Katski clan. The clans had inter-clan marriages and stuff like that, but in my case both my grandparents are clan leaders, my grandfather was the clan leader of the Katski clan and grandmother was clan leader of the Phoenix Dragon clan, so I was the successor of both clans that's only cause both my parents died when I was born.Yeah. We practiced yang while they practiced yin"

"So what happened to that clan?" asked Miya

"Destroyed along side the Katski clan because if they had left the Phoenix Dragon clan alone than the clan would want to get revenge and I'm guess the people that killed my clan didn't want to deal with them so they destroyed the Phoenix Dragon clan too" 

"I'm sorry"

A thick murderous aura surrounded Iori and a thin murderous aura surrounded Linling and they both said "Don't be sorry, Its the bastards that killed our clans that should be sorry for not killing us cause that was there biggest mistake"

Iori patted both Miya and Linling on their heads "Protect each other until I come back". Iori vanished of into the trees in the direction of Linling's village.
