Chapter 59:

Mysterious Disappearances

The Creature Hunter: Soul Of The Wind

After talking with each other for minutes, they finally decided to leave and said their last words,

Orano checked his stuff and said while getting ready to leave,

"Since we learned everything we had to learn, we will be leaving now."

"It is alright for me. I will be taking care of "important" business once again. But I must say, you two were much more interesting than I thought. We might meet again."

Then Caitrin smiled and said,

"And you are not like everyone has talked about. Thank you too for your help, it will help us big time."

And after they finished their conversation, Orano and Caitrin headed for the door and were about to leave. But the witch stopped them and said one last thing,

"Are you going to fight him?"

Orano knew exactly what she was talking about.

So he slowly turned his head and said,

"I don't have any choice. I just can't leave it like that."

"It's your choice. But remember one thing while you do that."

She then added,

"The Orwell lineage may be a creature, but they can be as insidious and intelligent as a human. That makes them superior beings as human and more than a human. So be careful fighting him. Because there's no guarantee you will win."

Despite the witch's words, Orano said nothing. He just walked out the door and kept walking towards the exit. And as they were leaving the castle, Caitrin caught up to him and said,

"Hey! Wait for me!"

She then looked at him and added,

"Are we really going there like she said?"

"We have no choice like I said. Whenever it is now or later, he will come after us. And after all, he is not the only one that is prepared."

Prepared? Even though they didn't know what Nuzuki had as an advantage, the fact that Tatsumi already had a plan in mind confused Caitrin. But because of Orano's silence, she didn't think of anything to say, and she kept walking while they both got far away from there.

(A few hours later, Elsa's Castle)

After Orano, and Caitrin left, Elsa returned to her daily routine and started working. She checked the cleanliness of the castle, regularly placed the potions she had prepared, separated the necessary notes in the spell books, took those which she needed, and left pages that she did not need.

Now she was comfortable and she could rest. But her workaholic personality and something that came to her mind at the last moment kept her from relaxing.

Before that, she felt like controlling the creatures she caught that she hid in the storage rooms and had a bad feeling about them. She thought something might happen to them. And that idea made her very nervous with every step she took.

So when she arrived, she quickly opened the storage door and looked inside.

And despite her concern, the creatures were there. They were either sleeping or laying around. This made her relax a little bit. But before taking a deep breath, she slowly walked through the room and checked their count.

But nothing seemed wrong there too.

It was getting weird for her. After a while, she started talking to herself as she walked through the corridors,

"So there's nothing wrong with these guys. However, it's very strange. Even during the migration period, there is no increase or decrease in the herd. And for some reason, they stopped appearing mysteriously. Even the other creatures that claimed their territory won't show up in their daily routine."

Then she looked out of the window and added,

"There's something really weird about that."

(At that time, The Black Forest)

At the time, in a corner of the Black Forest, Ken was doing training on his own.

From his conversation with Orano and Caitrin, he remembered old memories of the times when he was a creature hunter and was thinking about them. Maybe he was thinking deeper than he should, and he was very confused by the events.

And every time he waved his sword, the sweat and deep breaths he took made him even more thoughtful. He was getting faster, stronger, and angrier.

But when he reached his limit, he swung his sword one last time, then he stuck his sword in the ground and stopped his training.

Now he had to take a break and decontaminate his needs. So he prepared the things he needed and went deep into the forest to find himself dinner and collect wood.

And after staying in the forest for an hour. He went back to his cabin with the deer he hunted and a lot of wood that he carried with his sleigh.

It was his turn to rest and get over the fatigue of the day, but he wanted to check a place one last time before that.

After he dropped his stuff in his cabin, He went to another corner of the forest and found a small tower made of long wood.

This tower was made by Elsa years ago and it was for communicating with Ken easier by sending signals to each other. They both had a tower like that near where they lived and used them whenever something urgent happened. And since Ken couldn't get out from the forest, they used it a lot.

Despite its being like a Zon device, it could work from all kingdoms. It had a device like a radio at the bottom of it and had a powerful crystal on top that could send its signals everywhere because of its powerful energy.

Ken didn't usually like to use this tower. Because when he wanted to talk to a person, he wanted to do it face-to-face, since it was easier and was better for him. But because of the condition in which he was in, he could not leave the forest and was obligated to use it.
