A New Beginning

As I finished laughing to my heart's content I finally replied to the message the group has been asking.

Violet: What's this about? are you gonna publish more content again for the web?

Xeno: Yep! People will find out later anyways.

Violet: Find out about what?

This time it was Keichiro who replied, the man who helped me investigate this matter. He really was reliable when it comes to matters outside.

Keichiro: Just based on what Xeno was asking every now and then, there's gonna be a FIVR game from the same company that made Conqueror Online!

Violet: Same company huh, so 'Blue Moon' that's gonna be hot news! I can't believe that no one knows yet though?

CodeX: How did you guys get this information though?

'As Codey (nickname for CodeX) asked, I decided to tell them a short but long story. It all started with me browsing games online that I can use to publish new content on a famous web. Of course out of the many things I viewed there was bound to be VR games, though VR games were famous at first, they soon died out apparently the "Constellation System" in VR's which allow the creation of the circle 3D space where the user stays in made it limited in movement. Thus lead to further development that combines the real world with the virtual world thus creating an augmented reality just like games such as 'Pokémon Go'  though developed that way, apparently there were massive testing's done too over the years, which included hiring professional gymnasts, swordsmen and many more, though the information was quite tight.'

'Although this information was private, in a Dojo I often visit to I had a senior who was invited to said event. The first release of VR was about the year 2010, now 34 years later, the year 2044 further development has been made, and is now applicable to use full body immersion.'

'Not only that but the game 'Conqueror Online' which we were playing right now was quite a sudden release as an MMORPG game, at first it didn't attract much attention, but in just 1 week it was bursting with popularity, not only did it allow much more freedom in how you progress in the game, all AI's were intelligent and could develop, quests are much more diverse and unique, although this would lead to a problem that quest guides that people make could not be followed, quests from the same AI still return soon enough though it can't be done with the same people consequently, this thus lead to competition between quests. This intelligent AI  was revolutionary in the gaming industry thus lead to multiple servers which was divided per country.'

'Then there was the last information I got because of my mom, apparently she got an online job for being a customer service, there was no problem with that so I asked what was the product they were selling for starters. Then I heard her say, a capsule, I asked her "A capsule, as In a medicine drug?", first it was odd for there to be a online customer service job for something that involves drug stores, aren't pharmacists that handle capsule's suppose to be in front of the counter only? Was what I thought, then she said it was not a drug but apparently an electronic. I asked her a couple questions, which company and if she had the FAQ sheet on the possible questions that customers ask.'

'But apparently she didn't know, what company which is odd, then she said that the FAQ sheet will be sent soon?, is that how customer service workers are treated? Although I didn't mention it all she nonchalantly said that its related to the factory built near our place. Although I didn't care about it since it was still far away I decided to visit this suspicious factory. Then that's where I found numerous warehouses and just a couple factories, like some kind of big scale project. Since I couldn't find out anything else I decided to ask Keichiro for help, someone who has connections in the political world. First all he discovered was that these factories were actually operating in a world wide scale and the products haven't been released yet, which was very odd, and now he finally discovered that the same factory actually belonged to the company 'Blue Moon' it was quite odd since 'Conqueror Online' was actually just a online PC game so why would they have factories, but if you piece it all together, It should be a logical deduction, that 'Blue Moon' were making an FIVR game.'

Violet: So that's what it was about huh... That was a really long story.

CodeX: I see...

Xeno: Sorry you must have been bored about the story...

Violet: No- well yes but its quite normal for others to express a lot for their achievements I think?

Keichiro: HAHAHA well now that we have this information what do we do about it Xeno.

Xeno: Well if possible I would have like to inquire about possible reservations and price on these capsules but I'm guessing its impossible based on how hard it was to get this information. So I am guessing I can just use this as a speculation content for the members of the web.

Violet: Well looks like Xeno-kun will be very busy tonight I guess. In fact the members are displeased with the lack of content now.

Xeno: What can I do when 'Conqueror Online' has ended, and the others aren't even contributing that much. 

Violet: I know, I know, no one can blame you plus you ain't normal yourself, your game knowledge and adaptivity should be regarded quite high and how you gather and manage information rivals a presidents secretary!!!

Xeno: Thanks for the compliment, is what I would like to say but you just had to put the words secretary huh!

CodeX: Anyways our monthly share of the pay for the website is here again now!

'Hah its been a while already since I worked with these guys, our group was quite a strange combination, I still remember the days before I was an Information Broker.'

INSIGHT, it was the name of the website that me and the group created, we were the founder of this gamble of a website. It was quite a mystery though why 2 of those people joined though. 

Me, Codey, Violet, and Keichiro the founders, our history was connected because of me mostly, it all started with me thinking of how to make money through information, I just didn't want to gain followers which are not worth much to me for the information I give. So I thought why not make a website that lets me sell information. 

Thus began my greatest headache, I had a lot missing but I obviously thought I needed a programmer or learn how to program, at this time I was often active in the game there were some people who knew me as a information broker so some of them sold there information to me and they sometimes bought from me too, I was always well prepared. There I met a brainy nerd, CodeX was his name, in-game he was quite a gamer, we were quite acquainted as he bought and sold information from me, he was part of a guild, but he practically just sold information about his guild just to earn a few more bucks, he was a college student who gamed and studied a lot, though he had quite an awfu- , nice name I mean. That's where I told him about my idea.

Programmer acquired, thus the website was created, hah! I wish. The website was not acknowledged as a legal website due to numerous laws, I thought I could even put a place where you can gamble and auction your stuff at, *sigh*. That's where came Keichiro, Codey who was in need of funds was a private tutor for Kei, Kei was quite the rich boy, though he talks normally all the time he has quite the venomous tongue when it comes to politics, he seems like a lawyer, he even came from a government family. Kei was not allowed to go out in a private or public school, so he had private tutors, one of those was Codey, although I still didn't know their real names though. 

As I worked with Kei and Codey, Kei often scolded me most of the time in how stupid I was for  trying to run an illegal website that do auctioning and gambling, thus Keichiro took care of it though. He apparently enjoys paper work that's related to politics....

Thus the legal and beautifully made browser began, I published information and such, and here I thought, 'success here I come!', but reality wasn't so pleasant. Visitor count, 46 not even 3 digits, even though Its a legal website!! I shared the link to the website along with an advertisement but I instead got comments thinking it was a malware website. *Sigh* I got a long way to go.

All that is left was Violet, well she was a.... She was a whimsical girl, the first time I called her girl, she yelled at me saying that she was older than me, me who decided not to argue, called her Violet senpai from then on. She was someone who checked the website and knew that we weren't doing well, and well she wanted to help us? Violet's real name was Yuki, she was only a year older than me and she was a singer and a model to boot. Her singing job was quite normal, she was quite good at it too, but as for her modeling job it was quite odd, it was related to 'Conqueror Online' when there was conventions hold, she cosplayed her signature look in game, a wizard that masters the element of water and ice. She wore a robe that accentuates her figure while wearing a silvery white wig with a ice like tiara, and a staff. We didn't really know how we got her, but her reputation alone had helped our website soar from 2 digits to 5 digits. 

Even though that we were all introduced there were still problems in regards to the website, first I alone cannot keep producing content left, right, and center. Then there was a problem with the browser itself, first I blamed Codey until he finally explained about us needing a server for our website, it was a big investment meaning it will be a gamble if we worked out or not. Though the other two seemed to not care only I and Codey decided to discuss it seriously, thus we decided to go for it. After that to keep up with the demand in content I expanded my network of information, at first I used alt accounts to infiltrate guilds but keeping up with the levels and equipment is quite tedious thus deals under the tables were made, then there were also those who wish to publicize information or sell them themselves, thus we hired people with the help of Kei. At first not much wanted to join but soon many did after seeing how low the taxes we put on the gambling and auction functions, we still profited from them still. Our website soon reached a 7 digit mark, with the help of Violet Senpai, we added memberships for those who want exclusive information, there are also bidding for information, where only the highest bidder gets the information, this itself doesn't work out directly, it was tedious to accumulate trust from customers because information may not be worth while thus there was a ranking system that shows who gives out really good information and such, at this point somehow I was at  the highest ranking position given the name, 'The Gold Mine', 'The Library', 'The Brain', but what I like the most was the informant/Information Broker, I offered the right prices for the information I give and give an accurate summary description for purchasers to think if it is information they wanted, the information I got that sold a lot was secret locations, hidden classes, and such  but I often gave out tips on game mechanics and functions, thus earning the highest position, but it should have been expected from the one who created this.

Thus I was well known for a good reputation online about being an informant, and then there was Violet senpai since she was our mascot or something like that. She did expand her influence because of us so I guess it was worth it for her. Only me and her are known though among the executives of the website, both Codey and Kei were people who worked in the background. 

'As I finished my thought, a new one came, that was about me in fact, although there is no sure proof people think that the numerous information leak was because of me...  Though I did say my reputation was good I meant being true to my word as an information broker, I never did choose a side, as long as I get payed, but I guess delaying the conquering of the continent for 6 months was pushing it.' 

I am really a good person not biased to any side, hmm maybe I can also make people pay me for keeping information about them private I thought. Hehehe
